Our new dog recently had a bad case of the fleas. This was very helpful for us. We still needed to trip to the vet for medication and future preventative. However, this helped us bridge the gap until we could get in. It was able to provide some relief for our pup and was gentle.

What happened??? Why is the shampoo as thin as water now??
Iâm not sure what happened to advantage flea shampoo, but the bottle that I just received and the one I received in my last order were both as thin as water. There are no thickeners whatsoever in this shampoo! All the other bottles that I have ever had of this shampoo were thick and rich like shampoo should be. The last two bottles that I received have been like water! Someone in the ivory tower said, âOh, I have an idea, letâs make a perfectly cylindrical bottle, slippery when wet, and then fill it with something like water posing as shampoo.âWhen the bottle tips over because your hands are wet, out goes the expensive shampoo down the drain. At least if it had thickeners and it like it used to have, there are a few seconds to catch it before you lose any. As expensive as the shampoos are, I donât want to going down the drain because it is as thin as water.Advantage! What gives!?? What happened to the thickener?? Have I just received a defective bottles two times in a row?? Or is this the new thing? If it is the new thing, I am done with it.It has always worked well for me before, and I would have given it five stars because it does work well, but with it being so thin, itâs ridiculous!
