At home groomer recommends
For anyone wanting to groom at home, rather than pay someone else, this is the ticket! Easy to attach to most surfaces. I had a small portable table that worked well, and with a couple of modifications (adding some wood under and over, it shored up nicely for a firm hold with the clamp provided. All parts were sturdy, made of good materials and they were packed nicely for shipping. Instructions had very few words but enough to get things together with some thought. Don’t let the extra screws throw you off – only 4 are needed. They sent 6. The package includes 3 options for harnessing the dog for grooming. My primary reason for purchase was to gain more control over nail clipping. The harness was just perfect to accomplish that. Overall – excellent purchase and fair price and super fast shipping!

Well made and I bought it for my large meat rabbit breeders. They weigh about 9-13 lbs.

Dont waste ur time or money
Theres no way that this pole is designed to hold any actual weight. I connected it to a table and simply pushing my hand against it, caused it to bend right down, wirh very little pressure what so ever. Therea no way this would hold a 5lb dog, let alone anything larger as it claims.

It don’t work on just any table you’ve got to or need to order a t a ble th as t will allow the arm to grasp and hold your fur baby without incident

Dog hanger tipped over
I had a hard time clamping it onto my card table so I clamped it onto a snack table and it seemed to clamp on tight but after a short time the dog hanger tipped over and my dog went falling to the floor. I will shop for table that will work .

Worked well!
Worked great for one of my pups but the other wouldn’t stop wiggling so it didn’t work for him. I need to add some wood to the top and bottom to help stabalize but worked for the harder dog to deal with nails out of the 2

This works great for trimming your dogs nails and face, he can’t go anywhere.

It did not work for what it was intended
I set up the product as according to instructions. I was using it to groom a small terrier. The product proved to be flimsy in construction. The clamp was not adequate to maintain the unit in an upright position. Unless one of the clamping arms was installed at an angle then the arm has bent from attempting to tighten the clamp. I would also mention the sling that holds the dog be equipped with some type of belted or zippered closure. Possibly this unit would be of benefit in grooming a deceased, or drugged pet but, an active young dog appears to be more than it can handle.
