Easy to apply, effective solution for my pest problem
Until this year (2024), organic/natural insecticides have proven effective against fleas/ticks, ants and mosquitoes when sprayed in the front yard. This year, itâs been extra buggy with the mild winter, extra humid, and now carpenter ants have moved in which makes my current spray ineffective. I contacted my local pest control company who recommended using insecticides/sprays that contained Permethrin. Adams concentrate contains âPermethrinâ and best of all it has my favorite type of sprayer nozzle in the 32 oz size bottle! I love the hose end sprayer style thatâs quick and so easy to use! Thereâs no measuring and mixing, just check the weather for no rain in the forecast, put on a mask, shake, hook up your garden hose, turn sprayer dial to on and spray! It is super easy to apply and one bottle treats my front yard & its perimeter (about 5,000 square feet). Things I’ve learned… My front yard is home to pollinators (butterfly garden), so areas with flowering plants that usually have or attract bees, lady bugs, hummingbirds or butterflies and areas with chrysalis need to be avoided (this stuff will kill them). You also need to spray systematically so you wonât be left with gaps in your coverage. If you own dogs and cats like I do, keep them out of the treated area for a full 24 hrs until everything is good & dry (set the alarm on your phone). If youâre lucky enough to have a small yard, you should have spray left over so you can give your yard touch ups later (I need a second bottle). The odor wasnât too bad to deal with when spraying, and not as overpowering as expected. Itâs gonna be a mild-to-medium chemical smell, but not a heavy duty commercial toxic spray/Raid eye-watering smell. It also will be gone in about a minute since the odor seems to come from the actual spraying and not so much from the surface sprayed. So far, I am happy with the coverage and performance of Adams Plus Yard Spray. My red ant hills are mostly gone, the dog and I have not encountered any fleas, ticks or even mosquitoes out front. The dragonflies & pollinators are out in full force buzzing around like normal. As for carpenter ants? -I havenât encountered any while working in the front yard. Ditto for beetles, roaches and wolf & huntsman spiders. Hopefully, theyâve all moved into the backyard of which I have no issue. 5 stars!

Second year using it at my new home and itâs kept the army of fat grey ticks away from my home. I mange to get the back and front yard . Works wonders

Quality Product and Value. Works great
This does work great. It lasts about 3 weeks to a month. Works instantly with knats in shrubs. If you do your research this does not have as much of the toxins as other products and great for pets (wait 24 hours) and kids. You have to stay consistent and do it every 3-4 weeks to keep the bugs away.
