Cool Concept and Great Quality Insect Feeder
This is an awesome find for someone that would like to give their beardie or insects loving small critter a different kind of interactive way to feed and the overall quality is so good that the only thing I would do differently is change the suction cup style to something that has a tab on the edge of the cup that can remove the caps more easily rather than either stretching them off the glass slowly or sliding the feeder off the cups completely to get the edge of the cup off by nail more easily since its a little tight to get behind while on. The acrylic or plastic quality is awesome. Didn’t think this would be as affective as it is with keeping the bugs in and it also adheres well despite moving multiple times to figure out the right spots. I’m trying to encourage my big girl to get off her equivalent of a sofa and hunt a little for her food but I’m not sure after 11 yrs she will want this change. I wouldn’t either. The good news is that when it was right in front of her face she ate of it but I moved it to the middle of the tank and she hasn’t tried to go after the roaches since yesterday but I think a more active eater will love this feeder as much as I do while Smaug works up to it during our journey of weight loss together. Worth it and works well!Edit: I don’t recommend leaving the roaches overnight as this isnt 100% escape proof. If they will be in there through the day maybe stick with the smaller dubias instead of largest as it seems the adult males for feeding can escape eventually. Thanks and hope this helps 🙂

Great product and concept – a little small for an adult beardie
This thing is great in concept. And will hold mealworms just fine for a reptile. If you have a reptile that is not as big as a beardie gets then it will work for other bugs too. My only concern is that this is too little to hold something like dubia roaches or anything that is a bit bigger and smarter than a mealworm. It’s not very deep. Other than that it is a great feeder and for a smaller beardie that is eating smaller dubia it would work.
