Sharp, Dependable Blade That Performs Like OEM
I bought this MEMIRY A2/AC Medium Blade as a lower-cost alternative to the Lister OEM version, and itâs exceeded my expectations. The fit on my Lister Star was exact- no wiggle, no adjustment needed. Once tensioned properly, it cut through thick horse hair smoothly without leaving tracks or pulling. The 2.5 mm cut length leaves a clean, even finish that still offers some coat protection, ideal for general body clipping. I ran it for about 25 minutes continuously, and while it warmed up slightly, it never got uncomfortably hot or dulled mid-clip. Cleaning afterward was simple; the blade resists rust and doesnât trap hair like cheaper steel.The edge retention has been solid across several full-body clips, and it holds alignment well after oiling. It feels durable and balanced, not flimsy. For $45.99, this blade delivers near-OEM performance at a significant savings compared to the $65-$70 range for Lister. My only minor complaint is that it arrived with a thick protective coating that made the first pass a bit stiff, but after a quick wipe and oil, it performed beautifully. Overall, an excellent, cost-effective replacement that delivers professional-grade results.

So far, so good!
Just got this medium blade to use with my Lister Star clippers, and Iâm pretty happy with it so far. It fit right on my clippers without any hassle and felt sharp right out of the box, which is always a relief.The blade is a normal size for horses, 3 inches wide with 35 teeth, and cuts about 2.5 mm, which gives a nice close shave, but leaves just enough of the coat on to still provide some warmth.The metal feels solid, and it has a nice finish that should stop it from rusting easily. I havenât put it through heavy use yet, but Iâm looking forward to seeing how it holds up. So far, it did a nice clean test strip on his butt.Overall, itâs a solid blade for the price and does exactly what I needed.

I have never seen clipper blades go dull so quickly 🙁
I was delighted to find an affordable clipping blade for my Lister Star clippers. Iâve always used the manufacturerâs blades and these MEMIRY brand compatible blades sounded like a great alternative. But I have ended up very disappointed.These blades are very sharp out of the box, and they fit my Lister Star clippers easily. I was so hopeful! But the true test of blades is how they perform clipping a horse, so I held off my review until today when I body-clipped my mare.I have two pairs of Lister Star clippers which lets me switch between them as I clip, letting the resting pair cool.⢠I had an old set of blades on one clipper. They have been sharpened a couple times and have clipped half a horse since their most recent sharpening. These were used on the right hand side of the horse.⢠I had this brand new set of MEMIRY blades on the other clippers. These were used on the left hand side of the horse.⢠My mare was freshly shampooed and allowed to dry before my clipping test began.⢠I stop and clean and oil my blades every 8 minutes per the Lister Star recommendation. I switch to the other set of clippers on the other side of the horse and let the resting pair cool.At first was I pleased with the new blades: they cut smoothly and evenly and I was delighted. I could not tell a difference between the way the two sets cut. Howeverâ¦I have never seen blades go DULL so quickly! I had only clipped about half of my mareâs left side before these MEMIRY blades became so dull that they would no longer cut well. I couldnât continue with them. I had to finish with the other set of clippers with the well-used blades.So these MEMIRY blades went dull clipping only 1/4 of a horse. The old blades, since their most recent sharpening, clipped 1/2 a horse this summer, clipped 3/4 of my mare today, and are sharp enough to tackle another clip job next week.Sadly I cannot recommend these blades for body clipping horses. These are going in the trash.

Excellent value replacement blades!!!
I picked up this medium replacement blade for my Lister Star clippers and so far Iâm impressed. At about $30 less than the Lister brand blades, itâs a great value. The fit was correct and they attached without any issue. While itâs not the season for a full body clip right now, I did test them out on a small patch on one of my goats. The blades cut cleanly without pulling hair, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Iâm giving it 4 stars only because I canât yet speak to how long they last or how theyâll perform on a full clip, but so far, so good!!!

Fits great
This A2/AC medium blade fits my lister star clippers perfectly and for a great price. I dont plan to clip my horse until spring as he has cushings and doesnt always shed his coat, so I cant say how well the blades work just yet, but they feel sharp and look just like the blade that came with my clipper.

Super sharp right out of the box
These clipper blades are sharp right out of the box. I clip multiple horses per year and having sharp clippers is a must. These fit my Lister Star clippers just fine. Be careful handling them because they are sharp.Great value for the price and the quality can’t be beat.
