Don’t expect it to last through the whole summer.
Purchased two months ago. They seem to hold up the fabric ok but it wears out at the bottom allowing the plastic to pop through that supports the legging to stand up. I suppose wearing them 24/7 would make them wear out sooner. They do help keep the flies off the legs. And they have plenty of room for a 16.2 horse. Wish they would have lasted at least through the summer. The material is tough but its the stitching that wears out where the plastic stick holds the leggings up and the Velcro does seem to be flimsy for horses and one ripped on him. Would I buy it again most likely but you can only expect it to last through a couple of months through the summer then have to replace the next year.

These are great if you have a horse who leaves them alone! My 22 year old mares have held up amazingly, my 2 year old colt has definitely put them through the wringer. Heâs ripped off most of the Velcro but they stay on so ð¤·ð»ââï¸ canât complain too much!

Well like a dummy, I did not read the reviews before ordering. These shields are huge. As far as the complaints for product falling apart, will review and add to this review. In order to hold them on, had to wrap duct tape around the mesh. In order to hold them up, it would have been better if they made the Velcro longer, that way this product would stay up. But very disappointed with the sizing. I wmpravised with the duct tape as I did not have time to wait due to all the rain we have had.. will add to this review once I see how they hold up.
