Nice set of scissors
So far I’ve only used the straight scissors and the thinning shears, but I highly recommend this scissor set. I have been using scissors I bought from the pet store to groom my Golden retriever at home. I didn’t realize until I got this set how dull and frustrating those pet store scissors were. These scissors make the grooming so much easier. I waited so long to purchase a set like this because it was hard to know which set was best and there were so many options with varying opinions. While other sets may be as good or better, I have zero complaints about this set of scissors. I’ve only used them twice, so I am hoping they stay sharp. I do agree with others that the thumb hole is quite small. I wear size 6.5 surgical gloves or medium exam gloves (although can fit into small but they are just a tad too tight), to give you an idea of my hand size. My thumb fits, but it is tight. Otherwise, I really like these. Warning, they are sharp. I accidentally cut my dog’s paw when she jerked (and I feel like a total jerk for doing so). But they made grooming a breeze compared to what I was doing before.

Quality product; thumbhole too small
Quality product. Purchased 2 years ago. Still works great. Thumbholes are too small for my hands. I am a female with short, stubby fingers. Love the curved blades for ears and face trimming.

Holy Crap! These are SHARP! Be careful!
Wow. Um. Did not anticipate these would be so sharp!!! I actually cut my finger really bad my first time using these. I didn’t poke myself or close the scissors on myself. I simply just LIGHTLY grazed my finger with the sharp side and it cut me real deep. Had to dress the wound for like 2 weeks.Having said that, BE CAREFUL!! Watch youtube videos on how to properly hold them (thumb and fourth finger) and practice holding/using them before you even use them on your pet. Do not let the sharp side touch you in any way. Also, importantly, if it can cut me that easily, then it can also cut my dog that easily as well. So yeah, be super careful with these in consideration to both you and your pet.The sharpness is definitely a good thing because it cuts through my coton de tulear’s super thick hair like BUTTER! Amazing! I love these. Been cutting my own dog’s hair for a few years now with crappy scissors, and I wish I had gotten these sooner. It makes a huge difference. They actually cut his hair so well that I cut his entire coat with just the scissors, instead of using the electric shaver. The electric shaver tends to have a hard time cutting through his thick coat.Other than the sharpness, they feel good when you hold them, they feel like good quality, they got some weight to them but not too heavy. Only think I would like is maybe if there was a slight cushion/grip on the inside of the finger holes to help keep your fingers from sliding in there, and to make it more comfortable overall – prevent soreness.Highly recommend!

Pretty& lasting a long time
Been using these for about 2 months or more is I’m not mistaken and still sharp. The ones I was buying before was going dull quickly and kept needing adjustment but these have been great, I get some dogs with dirty matted hair quite often, I ordered this set and another at the same time ,I figured they would dull quickly like the others have but I still haven’t used the other set I bought cause these are hanging tough!

Bought these for grooming my Bedlington Terrier. Checked ever pair of scissors because of the problems with the thinning scissors. I was keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that they would be ok. Unfortunately once you open the thinning scissors they will not close again rendering them useless. Had the send them all back.
