Very repellent
This works. The cat wonât touch it. Only use it on the normal spots. If they start to look for a new spot attach it there. Soon they will stick to scratching on their posts. I donât know why but my cat immediately hated this

Great product.
They work great and were easy to put up. What is bad with my cats is they just switched places to scratch, instead of the corners. I have to squirt them with a squirt bottle, of water.

Make sure you have the recommended couch fabric and you’ll be fine
I verified the type of material my couch had prior to purchasing this and made sure it was one of the ones they said works with this product. I’ve had these one the couch for about a month now and they have worked well and accomplished their purpose. The only thing I would say is they’re slightly not sticky enough, as after about a week some of them start to fall off at certain parts. Not a big deal, I just press them back onto the couch and they stick firmly again. No loss of material from the couch, no sticky residue left on couch, and cats leave them alone.

Saved the sofa
The shields are great; right size for our sofa and the kitten has lost interest in shredding that area. At first the pins seemed a bit flimsy to me, but I managed to get them in without breaking one. Thatâs impressive because I tend to be clumsy and kind of a brute. Anyway, the shields also arenât as noticeable once installed.

Sort of…
We put these everywhere our cat scratches furniture. They totally works (in a sense)…. no more scratching where she had been… BECAUSE she just moved on to all the places that were not shielded instead, where she had not been scratching at before. We bought a big pack and have more we could use but at this rate our sofa and chairs would all need to be fully encased. We might as well have bought those old plastic slip covers. Ended up going with a very small vibrating/training collar instead to distract in the moment.

Clear protectors…did the job
They did the job and I like the fact that they were clear. Still stand out like a sore thumb to the naked eye but they save your furniture so that’s what mattered the most to me.

Being a cat mom does come with its struggle. My couch is definitely being attacked on the daily, since my cat donât want to use her scratcher. I bought these hoping itâll work.. and it surprisingly does. My couch is now messed up, only where I didnât place the shields ahaha. It functions pretty easily, just gotta pop it on the couch. Itâs good quality and sticks nicely to your surfaces. It protects my couch for sure, where I placed it. In apparence, it does not really look good, but itâs worth the money still.

UPDATE #3: May 31,2020Sorry folks, I can’t help myself but promise last update lol.****8 months later and these are still stuck fast and literally look brand new. Furry friend never tried to scratch them since his first attempt last year. Thrilled. I want to order more but kitty just sticks exclusively to his scratch posts now!UPDATE #2: Jan 15, 2020****Its been two weeks since applying my second order to my leather furniture. Sticks well without pins around square corners but it has to wrap right around a corner by a few inches too assure adhesion. I wouldn’t cut the pieces to meet at the corner. Definitely wrap it around. The photo of the piece lifting was just a small extra piece I was trying to find a place to use but show what happens if closer to a curve.Extremely pleased. ðUPDATE #1: Dec 28, 2019****I’m still loving these. 1. Love how these are also keeping my furniture clean (outdoor kitty) and are easy to wipe down.2. I’m ordering more for my leather furniture because although the material is more a harder plastic then a light film, it’s pliable enough and sticking well to my fabric furniture most notably around curved corners AND without the pins.I don’t want to puncture my leather furniture with the pins. Also my leather furniture is not a casual cut, the lines are very clean and angular. I doubt this “no pins” approach would work on a soft pliable leather.
