Quick Test UVB Cards
Place the card at the irradiation point under ultraviolet light (within 2 inch from the lamp) and wait for 10 seconds to detect whether the lamp has ultraviolet rays.Before UV detection, the cartoon lizard pattern is the detection area, and the detection area becomes white. After UV detection, the detection area changes from white to purple.The card can be used 500 times when used in increments of 10 seconds.

Work good
Great to see if UV is reaching my bearded dragonâs basking spot. Helped me realize his basking spot was too far from the lamp. Its not an exact measurement of how much UV just like a âpresent or not presentâ but it does kinda become different shades of purple depending on the distance from the lamp so you can get a bit of an idea of how much. Have reused many times and continues to work great

Utterly worthless…
So, these were an anxiety attack I didn’t need. I am trying to put adult and/or better enclosures together for all my babes, but my daughter and I are not in a safe or stable place, lets just say. The animals will be taken care of, but if I can avoid putting a $50 bulb on my credit card that would be extra swell.Now that you understand the stakes, Imagine my horror when my bulbs failed to light up the card. I tried a second card. A third. “Omg, my bulbs ALL got damaged in the move?”But I had some doubts, despite the good reviews, so I decided to get the card to light one way or another. So I pulled out my old bluey’s bulb, nothing. I unpacked some new bulbs and they didn’t get the cards to spark…but my brain kept telling me I had bought off brand and that’s not good enough.So, either every single reptile bulb I have has stopped producing any UV at all whatsoever–they light up, this isn’t a filament issue–or these cards literally just do not work. I tested a dozen bulbs at least.So fun I get to either eat the cost, or go through thr hassle of returning them. I love that for me!!!Go get cards with better ratings. These blow.
