Great mister for chameleons!
Iâm the lucky grandparent of 14 baby Jackson Chameleons who had to set up a new habitat pretty quickly after their spontaneous arrival! This mister seemed like a great option over using a standard dripper/fogger combo, and it did not disappoint (once I received a functional unit!). The first unit I purchased didnât work correctly, so I opted for a replacement/return, which was easily done through Amazon, and the replacement came quickly and works perfectly. The setup was straightforward and I now have it set to go off for 15 seconds every 2 hours, which is perfect for baby lizards that prefer to drink droplets off of surfaces.Note: I donât find one star reviews for damaged or malfunctioning units helpful unless the malfunctions are common or the seller makes the return/replacement process difficult, which is why I am giving a positive review for a well-functioning product, despite needing to return/replace the original one I received. Iâm now considering buying a couple more of these misters for my adult chameleons!

Works great, but you may want to buy different nozzles.
I set everything up in less than 10 minutes and it was pretty easy to understand how the pump works. It mists perfectly as well. My only issues are that the suction cups are not the best option for holding the piping, but 3m double sided tape is pretty cheap to fix that issue. The other issue is that the nozzles leak at the joints. It’s fine in a larger tank as it just drips over time and very slowly, but this would not work well in a smaller tank as the dripping would probably be more noticeable on the sub straight. If the joints didn’t leak I’d have given it a 4 star and if it didn’t have fatigueed rubber for the water tank due to being forced into the folded up position during assembly, then I’d have given 5. Overall, this unit is worth it if you don’t mind the slow drip from the sprayers joints and don’t mind suction cups instead of 3m double sided tape. The suction cups are at least a premium material as they are soft rubber and not that cheap hard plastic kind.Edit: The leaking is so bad that it partially flooded my tank. Dropped 2 stars as this is dangerous for a snake as it can create more problems than just a wet tank.Edit: It stopped working after 6 months of use. It does not last long and I do not recommend getting this if you plan on using it longer than 6 months. Most reptiles live longer than 6 months I would think. Don’t buy this get the more expensive options so you don’t get a headache with this thing.

Works great
Set up is easy and functions very well. I got it for my sons snake thinking this was what he needed but I was wrong. He needed a humidifier. This sprays water at different levels but we would need a different light to create more heat to cause the humidity…if that makes any sense. Our old humidifier died on us and it did that process internally and it came out of the hose as fog. That’s what we were looking for and I just did not read carefully. I got excited and ordered to quick. No downfall on the product just not what I was expecting.

Good product, but terrible nozzles
Took a couple stars off because of leaky spray nozzles that drip while the sprayer is on. I was able to get a couple to stop, but one produces a stream of water when spraying and I am changing them out because of too much leakage. . Otherwise, itâs quiet and works well. The number lights are annoyingly glaring at night, so had to cover with see through black tape. Reservoir holds a lot of water. I use distilled water, so havenât had to deal with clogged nozzles.

Not great
This was very disappointing. The front control plate does not stay on and is not responsive when on. The water reservoir is transparent allowing algae to grow. The nozzles are black while the tubing is white. The spray on the nozzles is not fine, but kinda drippy, spitty. Overall not something I can recommend. The concept is nice but execution needs some fine tuning.

This is a mister, it does not produce fog
The description states this is a fogger and a mister. I have yet to figure out how to get it to produce fog. It does a decent job of producing mist. I ordered it for my bearded dragonâs cage as I want him to have some moisture in the cage. This takes up room, so unless you have a very large cage, you want to keep it on the outside. My dragon would be climbing or sleeping on it if it were put in its cage. The nozzles are easy to set up, and you can set the timers or run them manually. I am using a timer mode. It is well constructed as I have tested several misters and this one is the best so far. It hasnât leaked, which is often an issue with misters. If this is the first time you are using a mister, keep in mind that it takes patience to get it just right. You can set it up so it sprays from the top if you have a mesh top. I have side holes in my cage to accommodate products such as misters.
