When doing a water changed I noticed how much debris came up and I would pour the water out of the gravel so I decided to order this the 5ft-s after ordering it cam in 2 days and it does a great job of vacuuming the debris out of my gravel for reference I have a 5 gallon fish tank and this worked wonderfully to note you will have to pump a few times to get the water running, but the water does come out fast, but the water will only come out when itâs facing downwards not when it is facing up but when it started to run fast, I just stopped it with my finger, but it did a fabulous job with the debris sometimes because I take breaks between dumping out the water the siphon I did have to pump a few more times to get it running again, but it worked really great and I got all the debris out. It sucked up the debris wonderfully. Also, it is so easy to assemble just to make sure with the ball that you squeeze, you have it in the tube the right way or it will be a pain to get out but that was my fault for not reading the instructions correctly. The clip worked great against my tank and the 5FT â S was perfect for my size aquarium. One more thing for the people that have live plants. It did not suck up the gravel or mess up the way my plants were planted in my tank.

Great Product to Clean Your Fish Tank.
Great Product to perform water changes in my freshwater tank and vacuum the tank. I am a fairlynew fish keeper, and I was having the most difficult time using tank vacuums that did not have a little pump on them to start the flow. The other products I purchased before this one did not have a clip on them to hold the tubing in place on the bucket. This vacuum/water changer is so easy to use. The flow starts by simply pumping the handheld mechanism, and I didnât have water spilling everywhere because the clamp hooks it on the side of the bucket. Well made and sturdy. I highly recommend.

Good siphon for fish poo
Definitely works well at removing water and debris but not that good at re filling your tank sense it works off gravity, good price for an easy to use siphon to get rid of fish poo.

Works perfectly for my 5 gallon tank. Easy start up, slow flow so I can control areas to drain.

Good for 10+ gallon tanks, wonât work for anything less than that.
The product works well for my larger fish tanks but not so great for the smaller ones that are 10 gallons or less. It was easy to assemble and does not leak but it can be difficult to get water out of the tube once it is in there. So after a cleaning you may just have some nasty water sitting in the tube until next cleaning. It picks up sand well so in my tank that had sand substrate it would pick up that but not the waste because the fish waste was larger than the sand. Itâs a bit difficult to clean but other than that I have no real problems with it. I would say if you have smaller fish that are not major waste producers and if you are okay losing a bit of the sand substrate (if you have sand) then this product is worth it and good for a beginner fish tank owner/keeper. But I would advise against getting it for smaller tanks because it will not work as well and may not work at all.

Excellent aquarium cleaner. Pumps water out. Pressure is slow but gets the job done. Picks up all the nasty stuff on bottom of the aquarium. I hooked it up to my outside faucet. Took off the gardening hose and put the pump adapter on it and it fits perfectly without any other parts. After I glided the water out I pumped water back in using the same outside faucet. You just turn the adapter switch to off and it will automatically pump clean water into your aquarium. Better than lugging around buckets of dirty water back and forth and then having to lug more clean water to fill. I would definitely buy again.Heads up: I took my turtles and fish out of the aquarium before cleaning. Also make sure you put water conditioner if you decide to use faucet water! Kills the chlorine that will harm your turtles or fish

5 star siphon for aquarium
This siphon is perfect for a 5 gallon fish tank. It is very effective in clearing away waste and gunk from the tank and gravel. It is very safe and easy to control, keeping fish away and out of the path of the siphon. It was extremely easy to assemble – screw on the siphon part, attach the hand pump and it was ready to use. This is a good quality siphon that never has issues with leaking or coming apart. I also really like the size which enables me to clean the tank quickly and effectively without being so large itâs hard to handle in the corners or around decor.
