Nice cage
Purchased for my son’s 3 female rats. They live this cage. They arent as large as our males so it is big enough for them. Easy to clean and very sturdy. I love the stand.

This is definitely a spacious cage for two rat boys to be happy in. The quality I found to be very goodâalthough I noticed a few places on the top where the welding was not perfect. The instruction for assembly was clear and the assembly itself, was quick and very easy. I am happy with my purchase but most importantly, my little rat boys love their new home!

Solid cage and easy to put together
This is a great little cage for our sugar gliders. To ensure that it is 100% escape proof, I zip-tied the base grate to the body of the cage so there is no gap at all (top black zip-tie in first photo). My only issue is that the rolling base is not the correct model for the cage it came with. It is NOT the base originally pictured in the add and the base and cage cannot be secured together with the hardware provided. There are hardware holes plumbed in both the base and bottom rail of the cage, but they donât line up (not even close). I like the cage well enough so I zip-tied the cage to the base with heavy duty ties that I had on hand (bottom zip-tie in the first photo). I think this work around provides enough support and stability for it to be functional for me. It is unfortunate that it is not working as intended and the zip-tie fix might not be convenient for other buyers; this is why I gave the cage a 4/5 stars.

Worth it!!
Such a nice cage and super durable for the price! I hate putting things together but this one was so easy. I had to zip tie a few parts so my sugar gliders couldnât escape through the bottom sliding grate or the lifting doors on the front but still a 10/10!

Nice and sturdy
Easy to assemble and it turns out super good. Plenty of space for my 2 rats. Large space also helps a lot with ordor control. It comes with some sticks I think this is fine for birds too. There’re 4 little doors on the cage like others commented. I currently use some iron wire to keep them closed and consider buying little locks. Overall excellent!

Worst possible experience ever on Amazon
I was quite excited to purchase the product and attempted to assemble the product the day it was delivered. The product came with a part that was defective and not part of the assembly. I checked everything, and, according to the directions, there was no method to attach the part since there were no holes for the screws.After 3 weeks, I continue to battle with both Amazon and the seller attempting to obtain a refund. The seller initial required that I ship the product back, which I refused to do since the product is defective and the shipping will be very costly. The seller can ONLY be contacted through Amazon’s web communication system and required photos of the problem. I have not received a refund and can only offer this suggestion:DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ON AMAZON OR ANYWHERE AT ALL AND AVOID ROWLAND PRODUCTS BECAUSE THEY ARE CHEAPLY MADE AND THE COMPANY PROVIDES NO SUPPORT!UPDATE: After 2 weeks, Rowland asked me to submit photographic proof of the defect with the cage–before they would do anything. They gave me 3 or 4 days to re-assemble the defective cage and take pictures. They closed the request before I got the photos back to them through Amazon’s communication system. I talked to Amazon and they refunded me the cost of the cage. That restored my faith in Amazon but I will repeat: DO NOT BUY A ROWLAND PRODUCT.

Perfect for rats !
Solid cage easy instructions. My 13 yr.old assembled herself for her pet rats .We did add some things to bottom of cage so they weren’t walking on the wire bottom . We use puppy pads instead of shavings in the catch tray for easy clean up & no shavings on the floor .

Welds and building
Theres nothing bolting the top cage section to the rolly bottom handled shelf section so im using metal zipties! Highly recommend if cage is able to be bumped into or moved slightly somehow. I have old floors and im very clumsy.Also, the âweldedâ circular nut you thread a bolt into for the bar on the rolly cart half came unwelded and i had to spend time fishing it out of the rod. Then barely got it tightened into it because of this. Its holding well for now but i know its looser than the other 3 corners.A couple welds came undone while unpackaging, i noted they looked machine done because the ones that failed were way off where they shouldve been but the other corners were perfect. Also, the plastic bowls only go in diagonally in corners, not straight like the pics.
