The worms are great… very few dead, nice and big. My issue is with how these were packaged. They came in one of those translucent gift bags with some newspaper stuffed in it. There will little holes in the newspaper where the worms had been munching. Eating ink can’t be good for the worms, which should be gut-loaded on something other than newsprint. Additionally, getting 500 worms out of a giftbad was extremely difficult and made a huge mess in my kitchen, which then had to be cleaned up. There are probably a few worms that escaped during the process and I won’t be surprised if I find some little black beetles in my apartment eventually.

A lot of the worms arrived black or dead. The smell was horrible.Â

Iâve ordered several times and the last 3 times 75% of the worms were dead, they obviously smelled horrible and twice they came with very little sawdust.
