It functions well. For me 40 watts wasnât enough I do think itâs durable and heat was ok. I need 100w to 150 w set up. Which I ended up getting instead. Nothing wrong with the product. It just didnât fit my needs.

Nice looking lamps
These lamps look nice and will work well for some situations. I’m returning them because they are not deep enough to accommodate the heat lamp bulbs that I am using. That’s on me as the measurements are provided in the description. 5″ maximum bulb height.Here are some other observations that I’ve made. I purchased the 8.5″ lamps. They are only 8.25″ lamps and are noticably smaller given the cutouts that I have in my bearded dragon’s cage. Not a big deal but worth mentioning as a quarter inch difference could be important to someone else.I am deducting one star because the on/off toggle switch is located close to the plug end. That kinda defeats the purpose doesn’t it? I’d still have to get down on the floor and get behind the cabinet to flip the toggle ‘off’. At that point I may as well just unplug it.Otherwise these lamps look very nice and seem to be of the same quality as other brands.

Stopped working in less than a year
I bought this in December of 2024. It only lasted until this month June of 2025. It isnât the bulb, I bought a new lamp (obviously not this brand) and the ceramic bulb is working fine in the new heat lamp in the same electrical outlet. Too late to return, not durable, no lifespan, and definitely not a good value
