Great find!
I’m so glad that this is a two-pack of bulbs and not just one! I hope they last a while, but from my experience so far, most of the UVB T5 bulbs only last a few months (but it’s also suggested to replace them after a few months anyway). The more expensive ones probably last longer, but I haven’t ran a test of that yet, so we’ll see.I don’t have one of those UVB meters that tests the amount of UVB being emitted, so I can’t attest to the output of these bulbs, but I’ll try to update this review once I get one and test it out.For now, though, these will definitely be going on my To Get Again list.

great for a smaller terrarium
these work well for smaller terrariums, provides good UVB for reptiles to process calcium to ensure their health.the amount of light output is pretty nice, but generates little to no heat. these bulbs generally have a good lifespan, but the reality is that it’s going to lose the UVB output before the bulb burns out! should be replaced at least annually.performs comparable to other more expensive bulbs, so this is a pretty good value!

Great Value and Reliable UVB Output
Even though I havenât installed these bulbs yet, Iâm really impressed with the packaging and overall presentation. Both tubes arrived intact and well-protected, which is a great start. I picked these up as backup replacements for my bearded dragon’s enclosure, and Iâm glad I didâhaving two in the pack at this price point is a solid value.These are T5 HO 5.0 UVB bulbs, which makes them ideal for tropical and rainforest species. The specs are clearly listed, with 5% UVB and 30% UVA output, and theyâre designed to simulate natural sunlight without generating excessive heat. I especially like that theyâre compatible with standard T5 fixtures and promise long-lasting performance without flickering.Even though I havenât tested them directly, I feel good having them on hand. Iâll definitely be using these when my current bulb runs out. If they perform as well as theyâre advertised, Iâll be back for more.

Pay attention to the sizing
T5 lights have tricky sizing. T5 refers to the diameter not the length. The wattage is what determines the length. These lights come in some really nice packaging to protect the bulbs. It is almost too sturdy–it took me 5 minutes to open the package, but at least the lights inside are well-protected.Â
