Perfect Haybag – All The Features I Wanted
We have two horses and I make several hay bags a day. I never saw myself having âfavorite hay bagsâ but these definitely are them.I tried a lot of haybags and I can tell you why they work:1- The hay net rope is the thin, smooth kind throughout the bag and tie. They didnât slap on some thick rope that will fray and is hard to untie. The tie rope is the same material as the bag itself, which is easy to untie.2- It has rings on top and a big one on the bottom. This makes it easier to keep its shape when stuffing them with the weight of the bottom ring.3 – The openings are perfect. I can easily loop them on my hay cans to stuff them. They arenât too small or too big. Just right.4 – They are big. The measurements are the size of bag, excluding the string. Some other products included the string as part of the measurements and the bags were too small.I know Amazon has cheaper sellers for haybags and I have tried them. The cheaper haybags donât hold up over time or are difficult to untie. Many are smaller. These are great. They hit all features I wanted and I will buy more of them. (Even my husband noticed how nice the haybags are and he doesnât notice things like this.) Pay a little more and get quality. They will save you time and last longer.

reasonably priced & durable
These hay nets were reasonably priced and easy to use. My horses don’t tend to chew the nets so they last about 18-24 months with daily use. I do replace all the strings with parachute cord so they are easy to untie after I hang them up using a slip knot. I like keep a few spare nets & at this price I can afford to do that.

Hay bags
Do not order. Not even big enough for a slab of hay. Totally dislike. Waste of money

Too small for full size horses
Waste of time and money for my use. Itâs extremely hard to get two flake of hay in this haynet. Might be better used for feeding a pony or mini and not a full size horse.

These will not last.
I was hesitant to use these as soon as I open the package. They are made of a very thin material, about half the size of the current bags Iâve had that were purchased on Amazon in April from a different company. I have several horses of varying ages and tested them in one feeding with my two weanlings, my most aggressive eater and one of my average eaters. The material will not hold a knot for tying, twists easily while the horses are eating and frayed after one use. The rings are more of a hindrance than a help when it comes to closing the bag once itâs filled. Iâm not able to get near as much hay in these bags as my 42 inch ones and itâs a struggle with the thin material catching the hay and twisting. My reason for the purchase was to speed up my feeding time in the mornings by having some additional bags already prepped. My current bags have yet to fray and only one of the six has gotten a very small hole in it that was easily remedied and still functional. I am very disappointed in these new bags and will definitely be returning them and getting more of the kind Iâve had even though they cost a little bit more.

They arenât good
They arenât good. The metal rings are a problem. I have no idea how you would fill these with hay. I plan on returning mine.

If youâre looking to put a lot of feed in-not the best quality
The tope rope wasnât strong. The minute I tied it up it fell off . I had to use small amount of hay in the bag for it to be able to hold. Large amounts wonât work. Would recommend for small amount of hay.
