BIRDS ATE THESE IN LESS THAN 2 DAYS!!
Iâve been feeding the birds for over 50 years. My mother was a birder & had me hooked by age 8.Iâve always put out Birdseed Bellls until the squirrels started stealing the ENTIRE bell. I tried wire wrapping them at the top but that did not help much so I went to the cages around the bells. Itâs always taken up to 2 weeks for most of the bell to be eaten.I bought these only because they were smaller than our regular $3.95 bells & I had purchased small wire holders supposedly for the bells & these are smaller. Just not small enough!I hung 1 of these on Friday morning & by Sat evening there was little left! I hung another 1 & watched the birds fight over the bell quite fiercely in fact! By Monday morning there was nothing left. This might prove to be an expensive treat at $28 per 4 but ALL of the birds LOVE THIS BELL! They have dried mealworms in 5 feeders, suet in 4 places, white proso millet in 3 feeders for the Painted Buntings which we host year around, black oil & grey striped sunflower seeds plus hearts, peanuts, whole, in the shell & chips, cracked corn for the doves, Niger in 3 feeders, fruit & nuts in 2 feeders plus peanut butter on log bark. With all of these choices & 3 large feeding stations plus some feeders in trees this was the fastest food entirely eaten of all the feeders. Iâm astounded! Weâve tried every maker of bells & logs that Iâve found & this is the most consumed food offered! Amazing!

FOR THE BIRDS!
Yes, these are pricy, so I purchased a dozen for Christmas gifts! Had a couple extras, so stuck them out during our big snow/ice storm this year. WOW. I’m sold! These were fast and easy to put up since they already had twine for hanging. As a longtime bird feeder, I noticed immediately the yummy variety of seeds, nuts, worms, raisins, etc. Exactly what a bird needs. (I could survive on this). Sure, a few seeds will crumble off, but they go fast with the ground-feeders. One did fall off during a wind and rain storm, so I may try out one of the wire holders. All my birdies enjoy these …finches, sparrows, blackbirds, even quail. I’ve already ordered more.

I would not buy this again
I just got mine and it fell off in two days. They should send me two more. The other one looks the same way. So if customer service is reading this I would like two more for free. They were damp inside when delivered. My birds did not even get to eat it.

Picking Frenzy
Great product! I have a wildlife party whenever I put one out! Almost out of reach from the squirrels. Donât know what the secret ingredient is (the mealie worms?) but they really enjoy the bell! Thank you

Birds love it
Birds love it, but you have to get the cage feeder, because the first one I put up ended up on the floor, since they ate the top first and became lose from the string holding it

Bird Seed Bells
We keep the larger birds away from the bells and have them just for the finches and sparrows. They enjoy the bells.
Paul Rabidoux –
Poorly designed hanger
Bought a 6-pack of the Bug, Nuts and Wild Bird seed bells, 12.5oz. Hung them on various trees around my property. Within less than a day, all 6 bells became detached from the black hanger/fixture and ended up on the ground. The hanger/fixture needs to be re-designed, so the part embedded in the seed bell is longer. It is currently only slightly more than one inch. Two cardinals were on one of the bells and their weight caused the bell to detach and fall to the ground. Aas much as I liked them for the short time they were up and for the number of birds they attracted, I would not buy them again.
