This brush left my catsâ fur feeling smooth and silky after they dried off. I recommend it!
This little guy really outperformed my expectations. I did not expect much out of it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got mixed reactions from my cats, however.5/5 Function: There is a swivel out handle on the back, and underneath you have a spot to fill with water. It holds enough water to brush two cats, and I was surprised how much loose fur it got off of my shorthair cats. My cats had silky smooth fur after I brushed them and they dried off, it was so nice!5/5 Power Supply: This is a rechargeable brush. It does not take long to charge, and it has not yet needed to be recharged. It lights up to let you know it is still charging, and it comes with its own charging cable, does not include a block.4/5 Catâs Opinions: The first cat I brushed tolerated it until she sniffed it while it was on (mist coming out). Then she was not having any of it, and ran anytime I brushed her. The next cat seemed to really enjoy it, she laid down on her side and relaxed during her brushing like it was a spa day. I let both cats sniff it first (with it off of course) so that they were not intimidated by the brush.5/5 Value for Money: The brush is worth the money for those of us who like to take good care of their fur babies. It does a good job of cleaning and brushing their fur in a non-invasive way (like a bath), and it does not require batteries which is a huge plus.I and one of my cats really love this brush, I am sure my other cat will appreciate it more once the memory of sniffing it with it on fades away. Itâs easy to use and store, also easy to clean.

Decent for Gentle Grooming, But Feels Cheap
I picked up this 4-in-1 Pet Steam Brush for my two Ragdoll cats, hoping it would tame their fluffy fur and reduce shedding around the house. The promise of a misting feature and multi-function design (deshedding, massage, anti-static, cleaning) sounded great, but while it gets the job done for light grooming, itâs not the game-changer Iâd hoped forâespecially compared to a heavy-hitter like the Furminator.Out of the box, the brush feels flimsy. The plastic handle, especially the fold-out part, seems like itâs begging to snap with regular use. At 0.24 lbs, itâs lightweight, which is nice for quick sessions, but the âergonomic gripâ doesnât inspire confidence for longer grooming. Itâs a far cry from the tank-like build of a Furminator, which feels like it could survive a drop off the table.The misting feature was a pleasant surpriseâit didnât leak, despite my fears. It does help with static and makes combing through long Ragdoll fur a bit smoother. But fair warning: the mist startled one of my cats, whoâs already not a fan of brushing. The other, who loves being groomed, tolerated it for about a minute but still prefers his trusty slicker brush. The silicone teeth are gentle, which is great for sensitive skin, and it pulled out a decent amount of loose fur without scratching. Still, itâs nowhere near as effective at deshedding as the Furminator, which can extract a mountain of fur in one go.Battery life is as advertisedâaround 60 minutes of use, which is plenty for a few sessions. But in 2025, a Micro-B cable feels like a relic. USB-C should be standard, and fumbling with an outdated cable is a small but real annoyance.For light grooming on long-haired cats like Ragdolls, this brush does an okay job. The misting is a nice touch for static, and the silicone teeth wonât irritate sensitive skin. But the cheap build, flimsy handle, and so-so deshedding make it a middle-of-the-road choice. If youâre looking for a gentle, occasional-use tool and donât mind the plasticky feel, itâs fine for the price. But if you want something built to last that can tackle serious shedding, stick with a Furminator. Itâs not in the same league.

No More Flyaway Hair!
All 3 of my cats (one long hair, 2 short hair) enjoy being brushed. The one with the long hair is the least tolerant: fidgety, walking away, and biting the brush after a few minutes. He is also the one who sheds the most; hair flies EVERYWHERE when he is brushed. In an effort to combat it, I began dipping the cat brush into a bowl of water before each stroke. Then I saw this steam brush–who knew?? I had to see if it worked better than my DIY version.The anti-static function works perfectly at keeping the hair from flying around. No instructions were included, though it’s pretty intuitive. The packaging is pretty simple; and the product comes across as cheap. If it holds up, I’m a huge fan. If it stops working in a few months, I wont be surprised.I charged it first, then filled the only conceivable place with water, and turned it on. A thin stream of steam came out immediately and I moved toward short-haired cat #1, because he is the most pliable. He ran away before I could touch him. Not sure if it was the steam or the slight sound the machine makes when turned on. I turned it off and approached him again, without the steam. He allowed himself to be brushed; and I held onto him as I turned the steam back on. He was startled, but I kept brushing and he started to enjoy it. This cat loves heat–from the sun, the fireplace, heating vents, etc. So even though the steam is room temperature, I think he really liked it.Soon enough the long-haired cat got curious. He, too, ran before I could touch him. Same deal: turned off the steam, started brushing, then turned the steam on. This time, he didn’t fidget at all. In fact, he lay down (see the video) and let me brush him. That’s never happened before. I think he liked the “massage” aspect.The product’s claim of being “anti-static de-shedding” is spot on. Not a single stray hair. The steam does leave cats’ fur slightly damp, which my cats noticed, but not disturbing. The only shortcoming is that the thick, soft bristles, which are perfect for a massage, do not penetrate as deeply as a traditional de-shedding brush; thus, don’t remove as much hair underneath.
