Doesn’t work!
This would be great – IF IT WORKED. I can’t get anything to come out of the end no matter how I flick it. I don’t know if this was one that got returned or what. You’d think for the money, someone could make a decent water bottle. Guess I’ll order yet another kind.

Very convenient considering I’m using a 55-gallon tank for my hamster. Sometimes I catch her climbing it when it’s positioned a certain way in her tank so she can escape but that’s not the water bottles fault. It lasts her a while and allows no bits to enter. I haven’t witnessed any leaking either. It has a magnet to keep it attached to the holder (I don’t know how strong the magnet is though… it doesn’t seem very strong). It’s easy/fast to fill as well. At first, I was paranoid about using it because I didn’t know if she was getting water until I saw the water level decreasing. Now, I really like this water bottle

Not for mice
Mice aren’t strong enough to push the ball to get water out of the bottle. This item may be suitable for larger rodents, but not for very small ones like mice.

I’ve tried dozens of water bottle styles for my pet mice. This one is working well. It’s a good size for my smaller cages. I hang it from the roof of the cage, although it did come with a nice stand also. It doesn’t leak.

Looks good. Seems like maybe it’s a little tricky for the hamster to get water out of it. But he still manages ok. Like that it can freestand if you have a tank as a cage.
