As described and what I needed
As someone who has done DIY repairs to all four of our fridges and freezers of various ages over the past several years, I wanted to know exactly what the temperatures were inside of them. Our main fridge has a digital temperature setting at 36F, but that’s not what it actually is inside. It just gets to around that temperature by a couple degrees.That’s where these digital thermometers come into play. They each come with a probe and a flattened cord so that you can almost seamlessly run it into your fridge or freezer without interfering with the door gaskets much. If you need it to stay out and make sure it stays flat in the door frame, some tape will do the trick.These little thermometers run by button batteries but hopefully should last awhile. They come with the tiniest screwdriver I have ever seen so you can remove the cover where the battery is. The probe is plenty long enough to put it where you need to inside the fridge or freezer. The probe is covered in plastic which is okay, but it takes longer to accurately read the temperature versus if it was metal. However, it responds fairly quickly. Only the humidity can be read for the room, the probe only reads temperature. It’s easy to switch between Celsius and Farenheit and the magnet on the back of the thermometer is plenty strong. The temperature seems fairly accurate within 1 degree and the quality of the thermometers overall seem good and durable. For three of these at such a great price, it’s a good inexpensive buy to give yourself a little more peace of mind and be able to see if your fridge or freezer is running normally.In one of the pictures it says 55F as I had just installed it and it wasn’t at the actual temp inside the fridge yet.

I gave three brands the salt test (calibration) and these were the most accurate

The first set I ordered (by a different brand) were wildly inaccurate, and the probes and wires were so thick, I couldn’t fit them anywhere in the enclosure openings. I ordered a different set without probes, but was still uncertain of their accuracy. Then this set, by KJCOOSWI, caught my eye because the probes were so slender. Had to give them a try.When the set of three units arrived, I noted the readings on two of them matched and the third was off by a couple degrees/percentage points. But there were still more congruent with each other than the other two sets. Now I had three different makes of hygro/thermo units with very different readings. So, I took one of each brand and conducted a salt test – I put them in a zip-loc baggie with a tiny bowl of salt water and let them acclimate for 24 hours. Within 24 hours, they hygrometer should read at 75% humidity. And only this KJCOOSWI brand actually did so. (One of the other sets was analog and I was able to calibrate by hand accordingly, which you can’t do with this set.)The probes are indeed slim enough to (with a little customization of the spider’s enclosure) fit through a small gap unobtrusively. That way, the probe can stay in the enclosure full-time, and the display (which is not only small, but has that handy kickstand to prop it up) can sit on the shelf next to the enclosure, which makes it easier for me to read and doesn’t take up any space in the spider’s home. I only have 5mm diameter button magnets, which really aren’t strong enough to hold these units up through a plastic or glass enclosure; you need a larger button magnet than that. But they work great, are affordable, and were the only units to pass the salt test.

Small unit that seems to do the job well. Great set!
This is a great value for the money in that you get three of these, with batteries, ready to go. They come with remote sensing cables and probes for each unit as well as a small screwdriver to open the battery compartment when the time comes to change those. The battery life seems decent as it worked immediately upon use, but only time will tell with that. I’m curious as to the accuracy, but it seems close. It’s currently registering 57% on this side of the room and the dehumidifier I have on the other side of the room says 54%. You can change from Celsius to Fahrenheit with the push of a button and the size of this unit is easy to stick out of the way. It has a magnet on the back to be mounted for easy reading, but you do want to look at this unit straight on to read it; angles are not quite so good. This is a decent item I will find lots of uses for, measuring classrooms and workspaces, 3D printing filament containers and more.
