Not worth it if you need to use them right out of the box
One of the blades came completely dull. Would not cut right out of the box.I went ahead and oiled and cleaned it myself to see if it would help but it did not. Iâll have to take it to a sharpener before Iâm able to use it which kinda defeats the purpose of buying these.The other one cut fine but seems to cut a bit shorter regardless of the length set than the WHAL brand 5-1 blades.

Nice substitute
Professional dog groomer here. This is a great substitute for the name brand! I’ve found the xlade cutting quality is as good as theirs. Although, it sometimes pops off. Maybe I got one that was not measured properly. But in a pinch I’d buy one again.

Worth it!
Iâm a professional groomer. I took a chance on this blade with so many becoming wildly overpriced, and coming dull or damaged. This blade ships in a hard plastic case complete with a foam insert to keep it secure. The Wahl brand ones have been shipping in cardboard with flimsy plastic over it, which often rips in shipping and the blade falls out. The base is a little bit thicker so it does make your trimmer a tad heavier but you get used to it. The blade came sharp and has stayed consistently sharp for weeks. I also use my 5-in-1 blades under the Bravura snap on combs, so my blades get a LOT of use, so I was very impressed with the longevity of the blade. All my coworkers have ordered this blade now and are happy with it too! The price is amazing and the product is better than what weâve all been spending double to triple on.

Great Razor Head
I have 4 very long haired cats and I used to get them groomed, but it would.make them so nervous so I started to do it myself. As long as you get new heads and it’s always really sharp, it will cut the hair and even it’s our real quick and it is smooth so it doesn’t cut or bother the cats too much. It’s worth it to be able to do it myself so the cats stay calmer and aren’t getting groomed and in a cage all day long.
