This wall-mounted scratching post is great for larger cats, as it is 34â. My Norwegian Forest Cat can stretch fully upright, which seems more satisfying to her than shorter posts. Her go-to scratching post had been my hamper, but now she has a new favorite with this scratcher.I appreciate that it saves floor space, because mine is limited. Because it mounts on the wall, you donât end up with a bulky base taking up room. It is good for apartments or tighter living areas. The sisal rope is solid and feels natural and seems durable. My girl seems to like the texture. I like the extras: the self-grooming brush at the bottom is a nice touch, and the hanging ball toy gives her something to bat at. It adds to the value in terms of cat entertainment. The neutral color/design blends nicely with my decor. Installation takes a little care. Since itâs wall-mounted, youâll want secure hardware, and that hardware comes with the item. Strong mounting screws or anchors are essential if your cat is big or very active.Even though the unit itself isnât super heavy (the product weight is about 2 ½ lbs), the wall anchor strength really influences how stable it feels when cats jump or pull on it. The grooming brush and hanging toy are nice, but depending on how rough your cat is, those might not last a long time. Over time, the sisal will loosen and get worn, especially in the most used spots. Thatâs typical for sisal scratchers, but good to know for upkeep. The product dimensions are slim, so if your cat is really large, it might feel strange to grip or scratch compared to a thicker post. Got this to replace an old scratch post. The cats are using it and the height means they get to stretch more than they used to. The one of the anchors failed, an extra would’ve been nice.

This 34-inch wall-mounted cat scratcher is such a cool ideaâI didnât even know they made something like this until now! Most tall scratcher posts need a big heavy base to stay stable, but this one mounts right to the wall. That saves so much space while still giving my cat the vertical stretch she (and her claws!) needs.It has a few different features built right in: a textured self-grooming brush at cat-height (my cat likes to rub her cheek against it), a long sisal scratching surface that runs the full height of the post, and a little hanging ball toy at the top.The post comes in three pieces, and it was simple to assemble with the included hardware. The mounting system is a âquick mountâ styleâyou screw in the plates first, then attach the post. It also comes with drywall anchors, though I think attaching to a stud would be more secure if you can.I have a very large cat (a domestic shorthair close to 20 pounds), and when she stretches all the way up, this is still tall enough for her. You can also adjust the height when you mount it, depending on your catâs size. I placed it just before the spot on the wall where she had been scratching the paint off, and sheâs already been using it. She hasnât completely stopped scratching the wall yet, but with some training and time I think this will work.For me, this is a smart design that really works well in smaller spaces. It looks good on the wall, gives my big cat plenty of stretch, and keeps her entertained. Five stars!âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

Great scratching surface for cats that love to stretch out when they scratch!
This extra long scratcher has it all! Whisker massager at the bottom, pompom at the top, lots of space to stretch up and scratch away merrily. The wall mounts are SO sturdy!! The entire thing comes together very easily after the wall mounts are installed. You just measure for the holes, drill, install the anchors and mounts, then hand screw the parts onto the anchors. Easy peasy! My cats love it and with all the features, it’s well worth the cost.

This thing is actually pretty awesome if you hang it on a wall, you really canât use it or the cats canât rather if itâs just like laying on the ground or something but on the wall, it actually spins a little bit so they can get an even scratch all over it Itâs pretty large. I didnât expect it to be this large and it comes with all the hardware you need to hang it on a wall. It does have the little string with the ball at the top of it that they can bat around and you know, cats love string and fuzzy balls. It is very, very sturdy and well-made absolutely worth the price. Definitely recommend it. It has the little ribbed bottoms so that cats can get a good scratch. They can rub their face against it. The sturdiness really surprised me. Itâs really really well-made. I would definitely definitely recommend great cat scratching post. Itâs built to last.
