Iâve been lugging a tenâto twenty-pound bag of birdseed from the garage to the feeder outside and scooping the seed using a small recycled yogurt cup. I leapt at the opportunity to try this container, and itâs perfect. It holds enough to refill my feeder while making it easier to pour the seed. By refilling the container from the large bag of seed, I can also see when I need to buy more before running out.The container is well-made, constructed from thick plastic, and the lid is securely sealed with a rubber gasket. Well designed and functional.
We have a couple bird feeders and have been using an old tupperware container to hold the seed. This Squsimei 1.7 Qt/1.6 L Bird Seed Storage Container is such an upgrade. I thought about getting the larger one, but I like this smaller size, which is easy to handle and holds a surprising amount of bird seed. I like that it has a pouring spout thatâs covered with a locking cap which also functions as a serving cup. The pop up handle folds down out of the way. The side flaps clip down and hold the top in place. Thereâs even a little chamber to hold desiccant packs to keep the bird seed from getting soggy or moldy, although we seem to go through it too fast for that to happen. I like the muted green color, the quality of the plastic (thick) and the fact that itâs BPA-free. A bit pricey, but something weâre using every day. Glad I ordered it.
