Very sturdy
Very sturdy! I bought this for a horse that like to throw his hay EVERYWHERE! I fill it and tie to the top rail.

Very sturdy, well made (but SMALL) hay nets.
Pros â¦.-Itâs nice thick material. It should last a long time.-the animals liked it-handles at the top instead of a drawstring, which I liked.Cons â¦.Itâs small, holds about half as much as the other 40â hay nets I own.Long version.I was hoping that these Hayserman hay nets would be good sturdy material as they appeared in the pics. And they are!! They are as sturdy as my favorite hay nets that last me for years. So imagine that these will last a good long while. Huge plus!!I also kind of liked the handles at the top. It was different. I liked that there was no string to get caught in the hay while loading and they it made it easy to hold. You could clip a sturdy carabiner to them and hook it to anything but I just slipped them over a fence post. It comes with some extra âropeâ should you want to tie it off.The horses and goats loved it. The openings are just a bit larger than the nets theyâre used to, but still small enough to help prevent waste. The downside (and this was a pretty big downside for me) is that it is MUCH smaller than the 40â bags I have from 2 other brands. I included side by side pics.As you can see from the pics the nets are the same height, but the Haysrman nets are gathered at the bottom, where as the nets from the other 2 brands I own are squared off on the bottom. This means they hold almost twice as much hay!I ran out of square bales so Iâm filling from a round bale but our guess (those of us who fill hay nets daily) was â¦. you likely wouldnât be able to fit much more than 1 flake from a 40-50 lb bale. Of course Iâm good at stuffing hay in and I think I could squeeze in more.It might not be a big deal if you are feeding smaller animals. It would be good for my Nigerians. But these have slightly larger holes and with holding less hay the horses blew through these in no time. I like to pack my nets with as much hay as possible so that they keep the animals occupied for a good long while.I would recommend them if you donât mind the size or are feeling fewer or smaller animals. They are very well made and good quality nets. I think they would last a good long while, it would take a lot of abuse to mess them up. They would be good for trailering horses too if you are just trying to keep them occupied for a short while.

Great choice for the balue
These hay nets are great for my senior horse. I love that they are purple but they really are made well and have lasted us a few months already. Great choice for the value

Well-Made Hay Nets That My Horse (and I) Love!
Well made and perfect for helping feed my older horse!I really like that these hay nets are a little smaller than some of the older ones I have. They may hold less hay than my other feeders, but it’s still a decent amount and it slows his eating down a bit. The hole size is perfect for him. I’m not sure how long theyâll last, but I’m happy with the quality for the price, and I will be ordering some for my sheep and goats as well.I decided to hang it in his stall instead of his run-in. I know my sheep â and anything else I use to feed him his Timothy hay â they’ll sneak in and make a nuisance of themselves by stealing his food. Itâs a losing battle, lol. Feeding him in his stall has turned into something quite cute and comical, too. For whatever reason (I believe itâs probably due in part to the slightly smaller size), the hanging feeder has also become something he likes to play with. He seems fascinated with making it swing around, and he’s even stopped stealing my cap since I installed the feeder for him!I’m very happy with the feeders overall and highly recommend them! Not only have they helped my old horse get his own personal feeder in his stall, but theyâve also surprisingly helped him find his playful side again â and for me, that is priceless! ð¥°

Nice hay nets for the price!
I always need hay nets and hay bags as I frequently travel and one of my horses is REALLY rough on nets and bags. But I like having hay nets to load and hang in the trailer for hauling so they have food in front of them at all times. And sometimes I find it just as easy to load and hang a hay net from the rings off the side of the trailer. These are your typical hay nets; they’re probably a bit more ‘fast feed’ than some of the others I have – it’s just going to depend on your horse and how voracious they are. I’ve got one that will drain a hay net or a hay bag in a matter of hours and another that moderates himself unless they hay net has tiny holes, then he just stands there and ‘rage’ eats.Overall, these seem like they will last (I’ll know more in a few months) and seem a decent size to hold enough hay for the hauling I do.

Seems small, but nice handles
Holds about 2 flakes of hay which is fine for my horse. I like that it came with two because I can prep the evening one in the AM and my sister just replaces it in the PM. I attached it to hang by putting a zip tie around the pole and attaching a carabiner to the zip ties. My horse was scared of it at first but once he realized it held his food he was fine with it 😀
