Good aquarium tweezers
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good price and a two types of tweezers. One is angled and one is straight. The lengths are good for my purpose.Quality:I have one set sitting outside exposed to the elements. Bright sunlight, rain and humidity. So far there are no paint chips and no rust forming. It gets wet quite often as well.Functionality:It has a very soft clamping strength, good for feeding bugs or handling fragile material. It will not be able to hold onto heavier objects or securely hold onto objects being pulled.  Rust resistance:So far being exposed to the outside elements(sun, rain, dust, and humidity) they have help up well. No rusting as of yet. Maybe if the coating is scratched or scraped of, then there may be a rusting opportunity. Â

Sturdy and well made
Great for reptiles. I use one to handle my snake’s pinkies and the other to help move/lift her when she’s feisty. They are strong, have a nice weight in your hand, and haven’t gotten rusty. Easy to use and a great length for slightly risky business 🙂

Great for feeding our leopard gecko. Almost great for picking snails from aquariums.
Picked these up primarily for an alternative way to catch various bugs to feed to our gecko. We use the hooked one for that because we can then present the food to the gecko from the side making it easier for us to watch. We have been able to use them with isopods, dubias, mealworms, waxworms, as well as the moths waxworms change into. Sometimes it can be a little difficult to gauge the pressure being applied to the bug, but we haven’t popped any yet. Sometimes the gecko will grab the tweezers, but she doesn’t act like it hurts her and will just try again.The straight ones are used to pick out pest/feeder snails from my two aquariums to feed to an assassin snail kept in a beta tank. This is where a bit more grip strength would be appreciated, because it is very common for me to feel like I am playing an arcade crane game, because I drop them fairly often when removing them from the tank. Maybe a more aggressive tooth layout or optional rubberized covering?Otherwise, these work very well for the use cases we have for them, and recommend them as such.

Excellent Value for 2 tongs!
Very economical price! Sturdy but not too hard to press. This is particularly important for getting live insects to feed my jumping spiders as they only prefer live crickets. And these tongs wonât crush them. They are strong but you can be more precise with how much force you put into them since they are not too stiff. They feel well-made but lacking in the finishing department. Edges are a little sharp. Some parts are jagged but not enough to cut you. I could have taken one star but if you go to the big pet store chains, one tong that is of the same quality but a little more polished is over $10. These are under $8 for 2 tongs. So their value made up for their little shortcomings. These might be a little too flexible for bigger prey like mice for snakes. For my uses though, as I require precision, they are exactly what I need. I will probably just file their edges with 150-grit sandpaper.

Great for our bearded dragon
We bought these to be able to feed our bearded dragon meal worms. Previously we had wood ones that ended up breaking, and like these because they are sturdier material and easy to hold. They work well in grabbing the meal worm and hold them pretty well. All in all great value for what we needed!
