Plug And Go – Works Perfectly!
I recently put together a whole new tank setup, and have been struggling so much with trying to keep the water at a correct temperature. Itâs been a pain to check the temperature, and to try to keep it in the right range to keep my fish happy. When I saw this heater up on my page, I grabbed it right away. I have never used a heater like this before, and Iâm so sad that Iâm just now finding this. This has made things SO much easier. Itâs easy to attach to the side of the tank with the suction cups, and starts working the moment you plug it in. It works to keep the tank water at about 78f and turns on by itself when itâs needed. Thereâs a little light that goes on to let you know that itâs working at heating things up at the time. I also hugely appreciate the thermometer sticker. At first I thought it wasnât working, because I was expecting the temperature numbers to be highlighted more obviously. After a few times of checking it, I realized that the block behind each number will turn from black to a somewhat grey color, showing you what temperature is highlighted. Once I figured out how to actually see the color difference, it has made checking the temp so much easier. Itâs easy to see, and I just slapped it on the side of the tank so I can glance at it now and then and make sure everythingâs doing okay. So far, the tank has stayed perfectly heated ever since I hooked this thing up. I am so thankful for this! Especially considering how decently priced it is, this is worth a try.

More heat in smaller package
The days are getting cooler, I havenât turned my furnace on yet and I will probably not turn it up past 60F come winter. Itâs not just that Iâm cheap, Iâm environmentally conscious too! Rather than heat the whole house to heat my aquarium, I already had a 25w heater. The aquarium is in a cold corner and 25w wasnât enough to keep it above 70F, so when Amazon offered me this for the price of an honest review I figured why not use two?I have, but havenât needed to use, a trustworthy programmable temperate actuated switch with remote probe for my 10 gallon tank. The first (adjustable) 25w heater has been unable to maintain 76F by itself lately, even turned up full power. Iâm thinking that the two together may suffice, I have a temperature log so Iâll keep an eye on that. I doubt it will get too cold anytime soon, if there is any indication it will get too hot Iâll incorporate the temperature actuated switch into the mix.Compared to the other 25w, this one is tiny. My old adjustable one is 7.5â long, this one claims 4.7â long. Aside from some foamed plastic to protect the heater in transit, there was very little waste in the packaging. Instructions were clear and easily understood.Iâm too new to having an aquarium to speak authoritatively about the relative value of this. A comparison with similar offerings on Amazon suggests it is a fine value, provided 78F is a good enough temperature for you.

Nice constant temperature, little large for 1-3 gallons, more suited for 5-6 gallon tanks
Nice little 25W mini aquarium heater. I like that this is a very easy put in and forget heater as it has a fixed temperature of 78F. As it is fixed heating, I can feel safe that it will not heat much more. While my photos showed 80F degrees, the thermometer did drop to 78F later as my room was very hot at the time I moved the thermometer inside. While it works well, I am not too thrilled with its size. As this is designed for nano tanks (1-6 gallons), I found it to be quite large, especially for tanks 3 gallons or smaller. For a 5 or 6 gallon tank would be okay, but still, I feel that this heater should be much smaller since tank space is limited. Overall, a very affordable nano-tank heater that works and perhaps more fitted for 5-6 gallon tanks due to its size.

I am currently using this item in my nano shrimp tank, which is around 2 gallons. It has kept a very steady temperature that is perfect for freshwater fish and snails. It is well-made, and the fact that I do not have to worry about adjusting the temperature makes it very functional and useful. So easy to use, just plug it in and you’re all set.

Simple pico heater
This little heater seems pretty good. It is very simple to use, as the temperature is already preset to 78* and you simply plug and play. A red light indicates that it is heating, and the green light indicates that it has reached its target temperature. I did double-check it with a digital thermometer, and it was right at 78. It does come with a sticker thermometers, but I don’t trust the accuracy of those.My only concern is… if this heater were to fail (as all heaters eventually will), will it fail in the on or off position? Right now I’ll give this heater a 5 star rating, but if it fries my fish, I’ll be back to edit this review!

Perfect for smaller tanks
I really like these smaller preset heaters for my smaller aquariums. They’re not fussy, ready to use, and compact in size! Which is great cause won’t take up too much room. The temp its set to should be fine for average community fish, and bettas. Comes with suction cup for side of tank, keeping it secure in place. Its completely submersible, so very functional. Seems to be good quality and good price!

Reliable heater for my 5 gallon tank
The NOVIQUE 25W mini aquarium heater has been a perfect fit for my 5 gallon tropical set up with a betta fish, ember tetras and a snail. Itâs small and easy to hide, but it does a great job keeping the water at a steady, safe temperature. My fish are much more active and comfortable now that the water is consistently warm.I like that it comes with a thermometer sticker â itâs a nice bonus, but I use another temperature gauge that Iâve had. The constant temperature feature takes the guess work out of adjusting settings, which is ideal for a smaller tank.Overall, this heater is compact, reliable, and budget friendly. A great option for small freshwater tanks.
