ð´ says: Must have!
I purchased this last October and already loved it but now that my horse is losing the winter fur I can say this is the curry comb you MUST HAVE.It is a very well made product that fits my hand comfortably and gets an incredible amount of hair out without much effort! Just gently move in circles or short strokes and see how much hair comes out without having to use much strength. It also works fantastic on dry mud and dirt as my big guy, being on pasture 24/7 takes a daily dirt bath. He is very relaxed and comfortable during grooming because this comb flexes just enough and is soft on his body. The rubber nubs are designed perfectly to do a great job cleaning and give your horse a nice massage while doing so ð. This is my most used grooming tool, from serious cleaning tasks to quick jobs prior saddling. To clean the comb just tap out the hair and rinse with water – so easy.Highly recommend it. Try it and tell your friends.PS I don’t have any advantages writing this – I just love well made products that work and want to share with everybody! Hope this helps – happy grooming and happy trails ð

Best Type of Curry Comb
Overall Impression:I love this type of “old style” curry comb, and this is a very good one. Much more effective than the newer styles. This is the type of curry I have used from my youth for over 45 years now and in my opinion it is still the most effective and gentle curry you can use on a horse. Even sensitive horses like them, as the pressure applied is so easy to control with the type of curry.Pros:1. Well made2. Very nice, soft, yet strong canvas handle3. Flexible, you can “curve” it with your hand when grooming the top of back of a horse4. Very effective at removing dirt from a horse’s coat5: Can also be use to gently comb through horse’s coat6. Simple to clean out, just a light tap on the handle of your brush and it’s clean!Cons.NONE!

Excellent function and price
Excellent, way cheaper than at local feed stores. My horses love to be curried with these. I’ve used them for the last 43 years. The ones with the cloth hand grip are the best I got one with plastic and I couldn’t even get my hand in it.

Disappointed
Not good for long haired horses doesn’t really help shed the coat

Good for short-haired dogs.
Use in circular motion to loosen short-haired dogs hair. Not stiff rubber, has give to it and works well on horses and dogs.

Works well for getting the dirt up.
Works well just a bit too stiff imo.

Great curry
I bought this for my Dalmatian, a super shedder. Itâs horse quality, which is just what I wanted. Well made and sturdy. I recommend this for horses or for short haired dogs.
