Anti-shredder furniture training tape!! (Note-I tried this on a small part of our couch before I put it all over. Hoes on easy & comes off easily, no sticky residue left behind. )Day 1: The cat tried to scratch a brand new chair before it could even be put together! I put these sheets on it and when the cat came back later, he seemed to have lost any desire to scratch/shred it. Day 3: The cat still shows no interest in scratching the chair. I will update this review, if this changes when the sticky sheets are removed. The directions don’t mention when they can be removed, though I imagine some tenacious felines may need the tape sheets left on couches and chairs indefinitely!!

It works⦠And at some point, you can take it offâ¦. cat has just sort of trained itself not to scratch there. I guess they hate the feeling of the stickiness of it under their claws.

Stick with the tape! Not the sheets
This was a mess putting on. I use the tape usually and that works well! I decided to go with the sheets because I had a broader area to use and if you mess up on thing the entire sheet is destroyed. There is no going back and trying to unstick. I feel out of 20 sheets I was able to use 1/2 of them. And I canât get that silly arrow off. Looks stupid on the back of my couch !

Make sure you know what you’re getting
I bought these to protect my imitation leather couch. My older can tends to use her claws to pull herself up rather than jumping up. I didn’t notice when ordering that they are sticky on both sides. This serves a purpose, but not what I was looking for. I did cut the sheets to size and put them on the foot of the recliner, leaving the non-stick sheet in place so the sticky side was on the couch. The sheets stuck very well, but soon the top sheet came loose and everything was sticking to it. I had to remove the whole thing. They were easy to remove. Bottom line, if you want sheets that are sticky on both sides, these will work well for you.

Easy to apply
These work wonders at training our cats. We stick them on for about a month and then remove them and the cats wonât start scratching again. They DO start back up tho if we rearrange the furniture for some reason lol so we always have to buy these again. Since thatâs the case Iâve used a few different brands and when the last brand I bought was no longer sold I switched to these. They are by FAR the easiest ones to apply. Very happy with them.
