Iâm hoping my aquarium plants will absorb the nitrate in the tank. These help for sure by preventing the plant leaves from falling into the water. My plants rooted up very fast.

Tolles Produkt für kompakte Pflanzen wie Philodendron oder Calathea, aber nicht bei beste Option für z.B. Epipremnum.Vielseitig verwendbar durch die 4 verschiedenen, sehr leicht montierbaren Befestungsoptionen.Bei kleinen Fischen wie Guppys oder Neons wäre ich bei Verwendung allerdings vorsichtig, ob diese eventuell in den Becherschlitzen feststecken bleiben könnten.

I love the look and low maintenance of ripariums, and have tested three or four different styles of plant holders. They all have their pros and cons, and use really depends on factors like purpose (are you just rooting a plant or will it hopefully live at the waterline), desired plant size, tank size, and so on.⢠I was impressed to see how many options these holders came with regarding attachment to an aquarium, and these options hold very securely to the plant cup. I used the smallest hook size for my rimless 15 gallon and 3 gallon.⢠The main reason I was so happy with these plant holders is because they are sized to be suitable for long term growth of (appropriately sized) mature plants. The cups are large enough in diameter to hold a vast variety of plants, and more importantly to me, they are very deep/long. Plants can live growing out of the aquarium without my having to be constantly worried about checking water evaporation levels. With shorter holders, the plants have a much better chance of accidentally drying out in my tanks/environment.⢠These are now my go-to plant holders for plants I intend to keep in place long term (so far I’m using these for an alocasia ‘Bambino’ and a rooted Snake plantlet). I’ll definitely buy more when the time comes for me to finally build a centerpiece riparium in my home! Note: I use pumice stone in my plant holders. For me, it works best to consistently wick water to the top of the cup.
