We offer top-quality products, solely dedicated to solving your challenges.
What’s our mission ?
Founder James Fomont’s mission is clear: Only when pests are kept away from homes can life truly be enjoyable.
METAL BAIT CAGE – 2025 optimized upgrade design. Fomont’s patented metal bait cage is designed to conceal bait under the trap, preventing rodents/insects from accessing the bait. Long-lasting scent of bait eliminates the need for frequent replenishment. With auto-reset trap design, continuous trapping of rodents over an extended period. Our competitors lack this design, leading to bait consumption by rodents, especially larger rat, resulting in continuous trapping failures.
DOUBLE PEDALS and DOUBLE RAMPS – Specifically crafted for trapping large rat, making it even more effective for smaller mice. Compatible with most 5-gallon buckets, just ensuring the bucket’s opening diameter is less than 11.6 inches.
PETS AND CHILDREN FRIENDLY – Also eco-friendly with no pollutants. Highly sanitary.
CAN BE USED ANYWHERE – Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, particularly ideal for kitchens, chicken coop, barn, workshops, and other spaces.
HUMANE – Allows captured rodents to be released unharmed. Alternatively, water can be added to the bucket for eco-friendly rodent disposal, avoiding any health issue.

Mouse trap/swimming hole
Good by mice! I used this kit on a 5 gallon bucket and on a 3.5-4 gallon bucket (one from Napa). I would recommend when assembling to put the side pieces in the top cat head part then install to lid, and finally put the trap doors in. I used peanut butter in the bait ball thing and put just a bit on the ramps to help encourage them. I also added 3-4â of water so they could swim. Pretty easy to use and assemble. Seems to function well as we have had some a few guests.
Terrible, does not fit and does not stay in place. Two of the straps have ripped at their attachment point, rendering the piece useless. Waste of money! –
Donât waste your time.
Flimsy and cheaply made. The trap doors do not reset. The main lids doesnât fit properly on a standard 5 gallon bucket. Iâve never left a bad review on products, but this is disappointing if itâs truly made in America!

Not bad, hope it works well.
The plastic is a little fragile as the 5th piece of the ramp the little tabs were broken when I opened it but honestly I didn’t need to use it anyway. It takes about 5 minutes or less to put it together, it’s very simple. I used the metal bait basket and loaded it with peanut butter and I actually smeared some on the center of the trap doors. I put this out by my chicken coop to catch mice and rats. I will report back and edit this post when or if it is successful.

Worked outside in challenging environment
This worked where other traps didnât. Iâm dealing with wild mice and they donât enter the small humane traps for some reason. In addition, the other wild animals in the area will mess with, eat the food, and break those. I can not leave this out at night for that reason (racoons, possums, and skunks). In the day, the squirrels will take any food that they like. The first day I had peanut butter in the bait holder and a squirrel chewed through the hinge of one of the doors so it fell in and then he was able to reach under and grab the bait holder. I saw him run off with it. I had thought hanging the bait holder on the side was better than under one of the ends, but had not thought of a squirrel just chewing the hinge off.I was able to use a paperclip to get the door to function again since he had just chewed off the hole that the peg on the door goes into. I also tried putting a tiny bit of peanut butter on the doors and ended up finding one of the doors 10 feet away. That was a squirrel who took the door and decided to lick the peanut butter off. The doors are thicker to the outside so that the mouse has to be past the hinge point for it to flip, so they are fairly heavy.I can only put bird seed that the squirrels donât like on top of the doors as bait. But the bait falls in with the mouse, so it is only 2 mice at most before thereâs no more bait on top. Took a week before I figured this out and caught any, and got 2 in a day. Also caught a lizard early in the week who was probably just walking across. One issue is if thereâs easy food available, they will get the food on the ground and not mess with the bucket. Thatâs why it took a while. It was when the bird feeder was out that they spent more time looking around. If I didnât have other scavenger animals I could probably find a bait they would go for. Last winter, some mice were in the garage. This year I can throw this in there and not worry about the bait attracting other animals. This is reasonably constructed, though probably will not handle lots of moving around. The ramps are 2 pieces each, and they provide 3 of the ramp parts with the tabs that connect to the main piece, in case one breaks. This arrived in a bag and one of the tabs on one was damaged in transit. Though the other 2 are fine and I have just picked up the bucket and moved it with the ramps attached, and it can be done. Probably some type of hanging connection would be better since the length works on flat floors, but not so well for outside, uneven surfaces.

Needs more improvement, requires modification
It’s called the “new upgraded” model. Well, it isn’t good enough yet. I set 3 out of the 4 in my hunting cabin and came back to find one of the trap doors stuck open. I thought to myself, “Did I do this while setting it up and not remember?” So it happened again except this time I was at my cabin, heard the mouse fall into the bucket during the night, as well as heard the mouse jumping trying to get out. I got up in the morning to see the trap door stuck open again (see pic) and no mouse in the bucket (standard 5 gallon bucket). And there were mouse droppings in the bucket so it was definitely in there. So the question is, did the mouse escape from the open trap door or the open spaces beside the trap door? The trap door is getting stuck open on the cat head shaped top, a design flaw, so I had to modify it (see pic) by cutting out material where the trap door is sticking. I had to do this on all the tops as all of them were sticking open. This happens only on the side with the cat ears. That cat head top has to be on, you can’t just remove it, so the trap door hits it and resets. That fixes the trap door situation but I am also going to need to put an inch or two of water in the buckets to keep any mice from jumping out. That can be problematic since I only come here every 2-3 weeks. Depending on time of year and where you live, this can be problematic as well with water freezing or quickly evaporating. I don’t see how this trap on a 5 gallon bucket could hold even a small rat but thankfully rats are not my problem. If a mouse can jump out I don’t see how it could contain a rat.Now I am concerned that mice may have “learned” to avoid these traps. We shall see.

Everything is too loose.
The catch flaps are too loose and fall into the bucket if slightly moved. The top does not fit the 5 gallon bucket I have, again too loose. The plastic grooves break when trying to put the trap together. Rats everywhere except in the trap.

Simple and kinda genius
All you need is a bucket. This is simple enough to assemble, but the plastic is a little thinner so you have to be careful when putting pieces together. Thick plastic isnât really necessary, so Iâm glad itâs designed to be lightweight, since itâs essentially a bucket lid. I have no doubt this will work, but I donât have to use it until winter so I canât speak on actual results. Will update later.
