Best rat food bowl!
Bought these for my daughters rat. There sturdy, easy to clean, good quality, and hold a lot of food. She’s very happy with the design her rat isn’t able to destroy these like past bowls we have tired.

Nice bowls, but BE CAREFUL when washing.
Bought to use as a feed dish for my small “hospital” chicken coop, which it works well for that. They are nice little bowls, but BE VERY CAREFUL when washing the bowl. The underside of curled edge is VERY sharp. I accidentally ran my thumb across it and it sliced me pretty good.

Quality control issues, plus safety concerns if used as an animal feeder.
The title says that this set contains two stainless steel dishes, but the description states, “PACKAGE LIST: You will receive 3 stainless steel bird feeding bowls and 3 brackets.” I did in fact receive two dishes and brackets in line with the title, not the three listed in the description. I feel the price is quite fair for two dishes with brackets, so I have no complaints on the quantity received, but please keep this in mind before ordering. The seller really needs to update the description so that it is accurate and doesn’t lead to confusion.One of the dishes I received has some small dents along the bottom edge, but the quality of these dishes seems good otherwise. That said, the brackets are rather questionable as the soldering is not the greatest! I can detect potential weak points, which makes me question how they will hold up long term. Additionally, the bolt on one of the two brackets has a somewhat rough edge that needs to be filed down. I would strongly recommend checking over each bracket before hanging these in a small animal cage!I should mention that I bought these dishes for us in my plein air kit to hold water when I’m painting outdoors, not for daily use by a small animal. Despite the issues mentioned, since they were inexpensive I will keep them and hope they hold up for a little while. That said, I do not have the safety of a small animal companion to consider! While I am ok with using these dishes/brackets in my plein air painting kit, I don’t know that I would trust them to hold up under the daily weight of a small animal, much less the chewing of a parrot… or parrotlet for that matter! If you purchase these dishes, I’d suggest carefully inspecting the brackets for both rough edges and soldering strength before use and then check them regularly for wear and durability. If you have a parrot I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
