Customers say
Customers find the coconut hideouts work well for various pets, including lizards, frogs, hermit crabs, and betta fish, with one customer noting they’re perfect for leopard geckos. The coconuts receive positive feedback for their appearance, resembling Florida lizard houses, and customers consider them good value for money. Customers disagree on the size, with some finding them roomy while others say they’re too small for adult geckos. Durability is mixed, with some finding them very strong while others report them coming cracked.

C. Wright –
good quality, no damage
These coconut hides are all natural and good quality. I love the way they look in the terrarium. The coconut shell hides came nested; one of them is larger than the other, but that works out in my favor as my daughter’s snake is a juvenile so we will first use the smaller hide and then move to the larger one once he gets bigger.

Great hides & nice natural aesthetic
Simple & perfect! My Chinese dwarf hamster likes these but it might be too small for a bigger Syrian

Perfect for tiny baby turtles.
Tiny hatchling turtle loves it, ever since I got them they been wanting to hide. This is perfect for baby turtles who are shy and have the natural urge to always be hiding because they small and feel vulnerable even if they are captive bred. These make my hatching turtle feel nice and safe, the turtle I’m currently using these for is a quarter sized Florida red belly cooter turtle and theses hides are bigger then them so they can continue to get some good use out of these for awhile. These hides can work for any tiny turtle or tortoise since they all want to feel safe and hidden at such a young age. Perfect for other tiny pets too, you can never go wrong with a nice area for your pet to feel nice and safe. Also stays down in water so these can also be a nice save hiding area for small fishes or aquatic frogs if thatâs what you are looking for.

Great !
These hides are great, especially for the price. I got this from my leopard gecko. They are the perfect fit. They are super sturdy would buy again!

A couple of issues – see comment
These are natural coconut shell halves as advertised. First issue is that they were nested so tightly I could not get them separated. I pried carefully at first trying to finesse them apart then ended up going for broke with a screwdriver assuming one would get broken. Seller should put a piece of cardboard between the halves. Good news is they did eventually come apart with only small scars from the prying. Still perfectly usable. Second issue is that none of my frogs, 3 different species in 3 different enclosures wanted anything to do with them. That was surprising to me. The last thing is that I ended up putting one in a cricket breeding enclosure that I recently started and discovered that the pinheads (nymphs) absolutely love hanging onto the inside of these shells. The older crickets don’t. So this was an accidental discovery on my part. They will go to good use.

coconut hide for leopard gecko
i got this for my gecko and he LOVED it. he ran to it and started exploring and took a nap inside of it. one small thing is that the entrance is a little rough but not alot so it wont hurt your animals in any way. i highly recommend this

Meine Kornnatter ist glücklich damit. Kann als zwei kleine Verstecke oder übereinander gelegt werden, um ein gröÃeres, von oben zu öffnendes Einzelversteck zu erhalten.
Charlie –
Sturdy, I received 2 but one was broken though I was under the impression I was only buying one so it’s okay! It looks great in the new enclosure ð I’d say it’s good value for money too ð
Elsie –
Both my hamsters really like it. All the coconuts will be slightly different sizes but overall I’d say they’d be too small for a syrian hamster
