Customers say
Customers find the cage great for hamsters, with one mentioning their dwarf hamsters particularly love it. However, the cage receives negative feedback for its sturdiness, with multiple customers reporting pieces falling apart and weak bars. Assembly is difficult, and customers find the quality poor, with one describing it as “ridiculously cheap tubes.” Moreover, customers disagree on the size, with some finding it huge while others say it’s too small, and assembly instructions are unclear. While some customers consider it worth the price, others feel it’s not worth the money.

Probably best for multiple hamsters. Itâs a very large enclosure
It was only easy to put together because Iâve put such cages together for other animals. If this would be my first one, it would be a challenge to understand the instructions. Otherwise Iâve played around with it a bit. I have a dwarf hamster and itâs perfect. It took him like over a week to familiarize himself with his new home but now heâs a pro. The ladders were too steep for him so I actually just removed the top ladder and lowered the bottom shelf to make it more comfortable. Also be aware that there are a lot of parts but cleaning is very easy. I just rinse everything every other week and deep clean with dawn soap every other week. So all in all he gets a clean cage every Friday

Flimsy and unsafe
I can not justly give this product even one star. The only thing it has going for it is the attractive style and colors. Iâve seen other negative reviews and seen positive reviews. I always like to give the benefit of the doubt. I purchased it. I wasted/lost $50. The plastics literally feel like they were made for the dollar tree. (No offense. I love the dollar tree but this needs to support a live animal). The shelves donât grip the wires securely. The wires are so easy to bend. A chewing hamster with a mind to get out of a cage can and will. (I believe I read some customers said theirs had). The tubes are too heavy for the wire frame and come apart too easily. The ladders have huge gaps between each rung that is unsafe for tiny hamster feet. The doors are easily pushed open with very little force. Yes even a hamster could do it. Sure, one may be able to fix the bent wires and insecure doors but paying $50 should give you a more quality habitat. I put it together and knew instantly Iâd not risk my childâs hamsterâs safety. Buyer please be aware it is NOT free return shipping. Had I known this before purchasing Iâd not have risked it. I learned my lesson and want you who are thinking about buying to realize what you are getting into. Yes the colors are neat. Iâll probably tape the tunnels and use as a hot wheel tunnel system. The base will be used for science projects for my child. The wire enclosure and shelves probably will be used for my childâs shopkins and other tiny toys. Or maybe cut the wires (Wonât be hard) to create Christmas ornaments for the tree (the wires are so easy to bend and mold) when that time of year comes around again. Always find a positive in the negative. ð

Great price, need gorilla glue for tubes
Great product for the price! The instructions though were hard to follow so I just mimicked the image to put it together. Putting the tubes together were kind of a pain. The above tube structure would come crashing down and I put it together again like 6 times before I decided to just get Gorilla Glue and glue the joints so it will stay. Overall I am pretty pleased with the product, I canât wait to put a gerbil inside.

Not for small mice, bigger rodents ok
Took a bit to figure out why the connectors were plastic and chewable, but they worked and even if my fingertips were a touch sore from trying to clip the corners, it worked. It is odd though that the cage itself doesn’t just clip into the base. Everything clicks together, but also clicks out of place quickly. Even built, the tunnels could be knocked apart if handled too rough so maybe not elbow level around little kids. I didn’t trust the handle at all since the base is very loosely connected and the clips for the sides did not latch at all.Mice liked the wheel and tunnels. The bottle was a touch small but we had a nicer one we ordered that stays attached and we can just fill from the top outside the cage. House was okay for our mice, but a larger hamster I could see being crowded. The food bowl was good, but they could move it and knock it around easily.Until the mice were comfortable and started exploring, this worked okay for them even with those issues. Once they were used to the new cage though…. started sleeping in the tunnels and using the cage as a play area. Our bigger male mouse kept finding a way out so we tried several times to see where he was getting out but no avail. We thought we had finally figured it out with the door clamp holding two bars apart… but wasnt it.One day I came home and both were out. I opened the cage, both were out again. This time one of our bigger animals found them so now we have nothing to put in the cage lolKeeping it in case the youngest wants to try a hamster or if we go back to rats. But was really bummed that we spent this much on something that says mice and they were able to escape easily

Pretty cute kinda small
It’s really awesome you can set it up anyway you like after you get the base and cage put together. It only comes with 1 page of instructions and they’re pictures only no words or Asian words on the instructions. It’s nice and secure however I have a syrian hamster and shes getting kinda big for it would be great for a dwarf hamster better. Easy cleaning with the plastic and she hasn’t chew through it yet. It’s sturdy and they can’t get out I did add zip ties to the middle roof because if not it just sits on top. I ordered pink and got pink.
