Perfect brush for my short hair cat
My cat LOVES this brush. The boar bristle side is gentle but effective in that it smooths her coat, spreads natural oils, and leaves her fur soft and shiny. The bristles arenât super stiff, which makes them perfect for short-hair cats like mine. The pin side works nicely for touch-ups around her paws and ears, and she doesnât fuss about it at all.The handle feels great in my hand. Yes! An excellent brush for Labs.
This brush is amazing! I have a Lab puppy, and until now, I hadn’t found a brush she would tolerate. This brush is of excellent quality. It is made of wood with tightly attached boar hair bristles to a wood handle, and it features a comfortable rubber grip that circles the handle. It also has de-shedding bristles on the side, making it a versatile brush that works very well for removing shedding from my pup’s dual coats. It must be the softness of the brush that makes it comfortable for her. It also comes with a small plastic rake to clean the dog hair from the brush after use. I absolutely recommend this product.

Pet Brush of Highest Quality
The best pet brush I have ever encountered. The natural bristles are the perfect stiffness for my short-haired cat, even for her to rub her face against. The brush quickly handles loose and shed fur, and the steel teeth are not sharp and can be maneuvered easily. She also loves little “cleaning claws” scraped straight down her back. And the beechwood handle with rubber grip feels the best of any brush I’ve handled. Even the cleaning claws handle is wood.It’s a little large for a cat, but after an initial sniff, mine didn’t seem to mind it, and comes running to be brushed if I pick it up. I think the price is good for such a high-quality product.

Great for short-haired pets, but not ideal for long-haired dogs
This brush is well-made and feels sturdy in hand. The beech wood handle with rubber grip is comfortable and easy to hold during grooming sessions. The pin side works well for detangling and the bristle side helps smooth out the coat nicelyâespecially for short-haired dogs and cats.However, itâs not the best choice for pets with very long hair. The pins arenât quite long or flexible enough to get through thick coats, and the bristles donât do much for deeper grooming. If you have a long-haired dog, you might find yourself needing a more specialized brush to really get the job done.Overall, itâs a solid grooming tool for short-haired pets and light maintenance, but not a one-size-fits-all solution.

Nice two-in-one brush for my cats
I really like this brush! It is very light, but the boar bristles run through my cats’ fur well without snagging. Having the pins on the side is a nice touch because I can switch back and forth without changing brushes. One of my cats is a little wary about being brushed, so the less of a production we can make of it, the better. The kitties, both long and short haired, seem to like the feel of it, which is the most important thing. I expect that it will hold up well with time.
