We have furniture in our media room that is faux leather and we bought a new little kitten who wants to climb with her claws on everything and was making a mess of our faux leather furniture. So I bought this and she won’t mess with the areas where we have put this on there.

Pleasantly Surprised
We got this for the back of my husband’s gaming chair, which has a cotton fabric back one of our cats loves to stretch. Since applying this she’s basically stopped scratching and when she tries she stops right away because it’s futile.I’ve never used a product like this before and found it easy to use. I honestly was not all that careful with applying it. I didn’t measure and just guessed. I used two pieces and they stuck to the fabric well and each other where there was overlap. We’ve kept it on for a while and so far there’s been no peeling, even with the cat still trying to scratch.It’s a thicker plastic, but still flexible. It’s thick enough where the cat claws don’t puncture and pull. We don’t cut our cats’ nails, just use scratchers, so she does have some sharp mittens. The plastic is very clear, but the overlap is noticeable, which isn’t a huge deal if you actually measure unlike me. It’s shiny so you can tell there’s plastic on the furniture, but it’s nothing crazy and is clear so the original furniture color does show through clearly.
