Completely satified with the purchase. I used to buy those filters in the pet store and they only stocked packs of 6. Decided to try bigger batch essentially saving on the filters per piece. They come in the box without any graphics or drawings so i am guessing this is how they keep the price low.The only recommendation I have is to leave model number of the filter somewhere on the box, otherwise people like me who do not purchase those filters so often don’t forget the filter model number since this is very specific filter that only fits smaller tanks

Noticeable Quality
I wanted these because of the multi-pack. I like to have all my fish supplies on hand, and 12 is a good amount. The box doesn’t take up much space. I noticed that these feel different than the Top Fin filters. I like the way these feel. The material seems thicker than Top Fin. I rinsed it before use, and the normal amount of charcoal washed out. About 5 to 10 minutes after putting it in the receptacle, the water began to look clearer. By the next morning, the water was decently clear. I haven’t had these filters long enough to speak of longevity, but if I had to guess, these would work well for a 5-10 gallon tank changing at 2 to 3 week intervals. That’s about the same as Top Fin filters, but at a fraction of the cost. This an excellent value!

Easy to use. Forgot to rinse first and was still fine!
Was excited to try these out and totally forgot to rinse first. Whoops! Totally my error- aquarium water didnât get grey and icky though even though I forgot! (Will remember next time!)Had been just rinsing out the old one for some time and putting back in- these are easy to place and water still looks great!
