My 100 pound husky/GSD mix has a double coat and does not shed the fluffy bottom coat as he should. That means he gets awful yeast infections on his skin in hot and humid summers. This clipper is awesome. It cuts through both coats effortlessly, does not pull on his skin or get snagged, so it makes it so much easier to clean and expose the skin lesions to air. The two combs included will also thin his upper coat so I can comb out the fluff. I have an Oster A5 clipper but this is SO much better. I have not had a problem with the placement of the power button. It is by far one of the best things I have ever purchased on Amazon, worth every cent.

Best dog clippers ever! We have so many sets of clippers that donât work well for our Huskies and Corgi. These clippers are the only ones we use now. They are efficient, quiet, safe and reliable. They do not overheat like our old clippers. We will never buy any other clippers!

Great clippers for poodles
Very good product. As you can see my dogs hair was very long and matted.. This machine slid right through with minimal nicking.. This machine feels so professional, and the fact that it plugs into the wall made it so easy.. It didn’t overheat, and I finished within 3 hrs.. Obviously I am not a professional, but it saved me $400!!!!

THE matted Doodle KING!
Having a Great Mountaineese Doodle ( poodle x Pyrenees/ Bernese Mountain dog) that gets mats as a second hand on a clock goes around , I was not finding any help with Oster shears ( with 2-3 new /recommended blades $$) . Jokingly thought I NEED âsheep shears â( uggh) and searched Amazon for âsheep shearsâ saw these and partly thought âyeah, just a description to help sell so-so run of the mill dog clippers,,,. Ummmm, was I WRONG!!!!!!Clippers fly thru fur ( the no mat parts) like nothing ,,even better than my 2 Osters here ! Mats take a little longer , slow movement thru a matted spot and it takes care of business ,,, everything prior would not touch it . Not sure if replacement blades are available ( have not checked ) but if not, I will have no problem paying a little more than a good Oster blade( new and retired in the box ð¡) to get a spare/back up clipper, plus the two blades this one comes with .The ONLY negative thing I can come up with, is the power button on the body of the clippers ,, easy to hit/turn off . ( getting better with practice ðð¼)Wished I found out/purchased this set back when my GMD was a pup,,, would have made grooming LOTS easier and productive .I donât do a lot of reviews ,, but felt I HAD to after finding out how great this clipper performs.Have not used guards etc yet,, but feel regular grooming if other breeds of dogs , will provide a great tool here .

Better than rechargeable trimmers
We finally got around to using these. Had them in my basket for about 6 months, then finally bought them.They trim nicely and get the majority of the hair off.Where fur is super thick, you’ll need patience, because one swipe won’t trim to where you’d like. Our dog is double coated and the Florida heat she truly needed her fur trimmed down to where she was comfortable.Once we got most of the thick fur off, we cleaned up the hair trim on her, and she looks great. Feels great, she’s very happy, isn’t panting as much and just seems to truly appreciate her cut.The on/off button is easy to hit when trimming, so that’s the only thing I wish was in a different spot. But it’s not terribly bad, just gotta hit the button and you’re back to trimming.Easy to clean and comes with a nice carry/storage case.I’d recommend these much more over rechargeable trimmers.
