Product description
Hi there! I’m Dootz
The Friendly Face of DOOBIT Cat Litter!
In 2012, I introduced natural cat litter to the Korean market and became the top-selling brand.
With 10+ years of cat litter expertise, our advanced dust-control process reduces dust and boosts density for excellent clumping and odor control.
Cassava sand is made from cassava starch, corn starch, guar gum, etc. The biggest advantage of cassava sand is that it has excellent coagulation and almost no dust, unlike other natural sands, and also has a high odor removal ability.

1. Biodegradable Cassava Cat Litter Is 100% Biodegradable, Meaning It Naturally Decomposes Instead Of Taking Hundreds Of Years To Decompose Like Regular Clay-Based Cat Litter, Minimizing Environmental Impact. While Clay-Based Litter Does Not Decompose When Discarded And Ends Up In Landfills, Putting A Huge Burden On The Environment In The Long Term, Cassava Litter Naturally Decomposes In A Short Period Of Time, Making It More Environmentally Friendly.
2. Eco-Friendly Cassava Is A Renewable Resource, And Its Production Process Has A Low Environmental Impact. Cassava Can Be Grown Sustainably, And Its Cultivation Does Not Consume Or Destroy Soil. In Contrast, Traditional Clay-Based Cat Litter Can Cause Environmental Damage During Mining. Cassava Cat Litter Offers A Great Alternative For Dealing With Your Cat’s Waste While Minimizing These Environmental Impacts.
3. Dust-Free Many Cassava Cat Litters Are Virtually Dust-Free, Making Them A Great Choice For Cats And People With Respiratory Conditions Or Allergies. Clay-Based Litters Often Produce A Lot Of Dust, Which Can Be Irritating To The Respiratory Tracts Of Cats And Their Owners. Cassava Litters, On The Other Hand, Are Usually Less Dusty, Providing A Healthier Environment.
4. Odor Control And Non-Toxic Cassava Cat Litters Have Excellent Odor Control Capabilities Due To The Natural Ingredients Contained In Cassava Starch. They Effectively Absorb And Block Ammonia Odors From Cat Urine And Feces, Helping To Keep Your Home Smelling Pleasant. Additionally, Because Cassava Is Made From Natural Ingredients, It Is Non-Toxic And Safe Even If Your Cat Accidentally Eats The Litter. This Gives People More Peace Of Mind When Using The Litter.
5. Cohesiveness And Absorbency Some Cassava Cat Litters Provide Clumping, Which Makes The Litter Stick Together After The Cat Poops, Making It Easy To Clean. Cassava Litter Is Also Highly Absorbent, Quickly Absorbing Urine Or Feces, Keeping The Litter Clean And Dry After Pooping. Cassava Litter Is Lighter Than Clay-Based Litters, And The Litter Box Does Not Get Too Wet Or Soggy After Absorbing Urine, Making It Hygienic.
6. Comfortable Texture Cassava Cat Litters Provide A Soft And Fine Texture. Since Cats Prefer Soft Litter, Cassava Litters Provide A Comfortable Feeling Without Irritating The Cat’s Paw Pads. This Makes The Litter More Comfortable For The Cat To Use After Pooping. Cassava Litters Are Also Much Lighter And Finer Than Clay, Which Means That The Cat Will Spread Less Litter After Using It.
7. Lightweight And Easy To Manage Cassava Litters Are Much Lighter Than Traditional Clay-Based Cat Litters, Making Them Much Easier For Users To Handle When Changing Or Spilling The Litter. Clay Litter Is Heavy And Bulky, Making It Difficult To Move Or Manage, While Cassava Litter Is Lightweight, Making It Easy To Clean And Replace The Litter Box.
8. Small Particle Combination: Comfortable Paw Feel And Excellent Absorbency Some Cassava Cat Litters Often Use A Mixture Of Corn Starch And Cassava Starch. These Small Particles Provide A Fine Sand Texture That Cats Prefer, And They Also Have Excellent Absorbency. These Small Particles Also Block Odors Well, And Provide A Soft Feel To The Cat’s Paws Along With Absorbency.

Will continue to use this!
Keeps odor masked really well. I’m impressed on how moisture stays caked and easy to scoop out. Very easy to clean kitty’s waste.

Iâm impressed! But theres a few cons to my pros..
Pros:⢠No Dust.⢠Clumps quickly and easily.⢠Relatively no scent, has a sweet smell for the first few days tho.⢠Very lightweight and doesnât weigh down genie bags.Cons:⢠Odor trapping filters get stuck while sifting so you get rid of most of them.⢠Can get pricey after buying a few bags. One bag is enough to fill one litter box.⢠Flushing is iffy, can clog your toilet.⢠The tiny crumbs at the bottom will track a little.Overall I will be buying more! If anything changes I will update.

Good Stuff!
Love this litter from Doobit. It’s our first time trying a tofu litter and I was ready. We currently use a product that is great with odor and easiest to scoop but it tracks and we have four sets of paws in this house. Out current litter is also quite expensive and runs about $60-$75 a month to fill the 3 giant litter boxes. When I saw this new litter it piqued my interest immediately. I mixed it with the current litter to ease the cats into it, following the instructions on the bag. Since it’s made from cassava and corn starch it’s biodegradable and it has zero dust! Even tracking is reduced because it’s larger than the tiny sand granules of the current stuff. The odor control isn’t quite as good as what we use now but the pluses of this litter outweigh that. It’s even lighter and easier to maneuver than standard cat litter. I appreciate this with arthritis and a newly rebuilt shoulder. Laughed so hard when I unpacked this. The picture on the bag shows a cartoon cat and the litter is called ” I’m Gonna Pee!” My husband laughed his tush off too. I plan on trying this in 2 of the 3 boxes in the coming month. So far they are all using the box with I’m Gonna Pee! and haven’t turned up their kitty noses so I have a good feeling about this. I look forward to switching over from the current two 38lb boxes each month to four 5lb bags of I’m Gonna Pee! I feel better about my cat’s health now since this is a natural product, and happy about losing all the tracked litter in the house for sure. It will even cost us less money huzzah!

Granular, Like Clay
The Doobit litter is labeled as cassava litter but also mentions tofu, so it seems to be a granular type of tofu litter with cassava added to minimize dust and increase odor control. So far I’ve only used this as an addition to the clay litter I typically use. The smell is kind of earthy, a bit odd at first but easy to adjust to. I like that this is granular, instead of the rod-like shape of typical tofu litter; it makes it very easy to add to clay litter and so far seems to clump better than the ‘rods.’ I ran my hand through the bag to check for dust; though there was a bit, it’s very small compared to clay litter. As for a comparison of weight, an amount of this matching the size of the clay I use would be about equal in weight, so it’s not a light litter. I have seen bits of white around the litterbox, so it has been tracked a bit, as clay litter is. It clumps really well; I like that it’s flushable, or more natural and decomposable when compared to clay. This tofu litter appears to be slightly better value than many others I’ve seen. I’m looking forward to trying this litter on its own, to see how it performs without the clay.

Natural Cat Litter That Actually Lives Up to the Dust-Free Promise
I switched to this cassava cat litter after years of struggling with dusty clay litters that left my asthmatic cat wheezing, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. The “100% dust-free” claim isn’t marketing hype – when I pour it into the litter box, there’s absolutely no cloud of particles floating around, which has made a noticeable difference in my cat’s breathing and my own allergies. The clumping action is surprisingly effective for a plant-based litter; urine clumps form tight, scoopable balls that don’t fall apart when I’m cleaning the box. What I love most is the soft texture – my finicky Persian cat took to it immediately, whereas she’d often avoid other natural litters I’d tried in the past. The cassava material seems to control odors well, though I do need to scoop daily to maintain freshness. I’ve started mixing it 50/50 with my regular clay litter as suggested, which gives me the best of both worlds while gradually transitioning my cat to a more eco-friendly option. At 5.7 pounds, the bag lasts about three weeks for my single cat household, making it reasonably economical for a premium natural product.

Odorless, Clumps well
I exclusively use cassava litter so my cats are very comfortable with this style of litter. This one is much coarser than the cassava litter I usually use. It’s somewhat low tracking, low dust and I really appreciate that is odorless.. The litter is a mix of course gravel and larger round colored pellets. Iâm not sure what the function of the larger pellets is, but they get stuck in the slots of my scooper which is a bummer.. The litter clumps very hard but is not quite as tidy as my finer grain litter that I usually use. I would definitely use this in a pinch if my usual litter was out of stock but otherwise the one I use now is still my favorite.

So much better than clay litter!
This is my new favorite cat litter. The bag also makes me laugh every time I see it which is just an added bonus but as I’ve been transitioning to natural litter from clay, I have tested a number of brands and this is definitely one of the best, if not the best one I have found. It controls odor very well, I no longer have to keep a vacuum next to the litterbox because it does not track like clay litter. There is ZERO dust! I am so much happier using this natural litter for my health and my cat’s health. It clumps extremely well and seems to last a long time too. Outstanding quality and a great value.
