I wanted to write my review in regards to some of the other reviews. There’s a lady here who was holding her new 10# to her old on and said it wasn’t the same?? In the inner part they dont all come the same theyre made by different companies. Pop it on and try it before relying on your eyes to see the difference. To the few who are the at home grooms be sure to touch the 10# every few minutes as to not be burning the dogs. Groomers rarely if ever use 10 blades on the whole body of your pup. Good luck, be careful all the newer blades I’ve come across have been heavier and sharper. Which goes for this new 10 that does just what I need it to do. Thank you.

Bad or defective blades
I bought the 5fc blade and #30 blade. Both have not cut properly since I got them. I tried oiling them. I finally got my sharpener out here and he said the blades are no good and he can’t sharpen them. It’s been too long so the return window closed and I can’t contact the seller about the defective blades. I’m a newer dog groomer so it took a while to get the sharpener out here and figure it out. Since I’m newer I thought maybe it was me but the blade sharpener I use that has been sharpening blades for decades could not get them sharpened at all and it was the first time trying to sharpen them. I had the blades for 3 months and tried to use them several times but just couldn’t get them to cut the hair good.

Nice blades!
These are our go-to clipper blades for cutting our horses and dogs. They cut exceptionally well and are incredibly smooth. However, you can only get about five good cuts out of them before they need to be replaced to maintain their smooth cutting performance.Pros: Easy to attach, minimal noise, not too heavy, durable.Cons: Heat up quickly (require cooling spray), rust easily if exposed to any moisture.Overall: I would recommend this product for anyone with animals.
