Super dog bed
This review is from my dog Beau, âI love my new bed. Itâs cushy and fits my 15 pounds of fluff and fur beautifully. I can stretch out and sleep on my back if I want. I really appreciate that it didnât have any funky chemical smell when it arrived. My mom ordered the sand color to match my fur. She says it looks just like the picture. Itâs really soft and comfortable, I wonât leave it long enough for her to wash it. She had to order a second one for the kitchen so she could finally wash the original. By the way, it washed perfectly and didnât shrink an inch. â

Super plush!
Super pouffy and not difficult to assemble. I thought maybe I should have ordered a smaller size, but itâs actually perfect! My runty 10 month husky fits nicely and has room to grow (if he grows ð.)I wanted a color that did not show the dog hair and wanted to avoid white – this beige color works nicely. Very very shaggy and soft. Does not go slip-sliding away and has excellent weight and substance. I would say this is a very good value and was better quality than expected. âºï¸Not sure if this is waterproof or how it holds up in the wash. I will say that the zippers seem sturdy and the cloth is not flimsy. I am hopeful.

Our Dog Loves This Bed
We got the Amazon Basics bed when it appeared that the MrFluffyFriend was a scam because of slow delivery and no response to email inquiries. In fairness the MFF bed did eventually arrive, but if I had a do-over, I would get this Amazon Basics bed which costs less, and is better quality. The ABB has zippers for the bolster and also for the bottom pad and it looks like it will be easy to wash. The feel of the material is superior to the MFF bed. MOST IMPORTANTLY, our dog *L O V E S* the Amazon Basics bed. The design of the bed allows her to stretch her legs under the bolster and lets her get really snuggled in. So glad we found this bed.

3 out of 5 stars Took Some Time, But My Dog Uses It (Sometimes)
It took my dog about two months to warm up to this bedâat first, he wouldnât even touch it. He still prefers the couch or my bed (of course), but now he does nap on it occasionally, which is a win in my book.After the first wash, the fabric started to tangle in some areas and created a weird texture. Itâs still soft and fluffy overall, just not as nice-looking as when it was new. My dog is a 30lb shiba inu and the 36×36 fits perfectly.Iâd say itâs an okay bed for casual use, especially if your dog likes variety in their napping spots. Not the holy grail of dog beds, but not a total flop either.

Extremely poor quality
The bed itself is VERY FLIMSY and flat. Even though the instructions say to allow 24 hours to fully expand, there is clearly not enough filler material in it. The expansion is abysmal at best. The bolster looks a tiny bit better – but not by much. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this dog bed. Amazon Basics is usually pretty good quality for the price. Save your money and choose another donut dog bed option. Iâm returning it ASAP. The search for a quality, fluffy and comfortable donut dog bed for our chocolate Lab continues.
