Great Heater! Good Value!
Solid and works perfectly. The external programmer is what is key here, so if you have to place the heater fully submerged and need to adjust the temp, you can do that near the plug!

WORKING GREAT
I had another brand that stopped working after many years of use. It was complicated to set and the heater piece was large. This new one I bought is a big improvement. The heater element is half the size and very easy to set and change temperature. I have a thermometer and the temperature is accurate. The cord is plenty long above and below the control unit and will work for most aquariums. So far Iâm very pleased with this unit and recommend it.

I have a doubt when I bought this heater for my sonâs 29 gallon tank. The doubt was proven wrong, this is easy to set up and works great in the tank. The ease of programming the temperature is a breeze. It keeps the tank in the right temperature. It has a very good features for the price. I will update this review after a year of use to see if the quality is right for the need.

Best Heater Iâve Had
This heater is significantly better than any heater I have had before. It worked for a number of months on my freshwater system and then I upgraded my reef system to it. It keeps the temperature very stable and is able to heat the tank to the temp I need it even in 65*F house temps in the winter – which no other heater I have had – siccee, fluval, and aqueon – have been able to do. Overall I would highly recommend. Hygger has significantly stepped up their game.

Maybe I got a lemon I don’t know but this was absolute garbage. Sad because I like Hyggars other products. Put into my tank, plugged in, set the built in thermostat control. My tank was at 81 when I started and wanted to raise it up to about 84. Right off the bat the product said my tank was at 83.6 degrees even thou 3 other thermometers I trust completely said tank was 81. So I set the thermostat to 86 to raise water temp to my required 84. I let it go for awhile and then rechecked water. Products thermostat read 86 now but my tank temp with 3 other thermometers barely saw any difference (81.4). Maybe amazon sent me one someone else returned that was faulty I don’t know but I started a return and will not recommend.Only plus is that the built in thermostat was straightforward and easy to set up. Just wish the heater worked.

Been running it for a few months now, no problem, love the display because its easy to read. Setting it up was a sinch, suction cups are nice and strong.

Not accurate.
Device works well. My only problem with this device is the accuracy of the temp gauge. The temp gauge is off by almost an entire degree. I breed and like to keep things at specific temperatures. The 300w model is way more accurate.

I got the 200 watt for my 32 gallon tank and the water temperature was always 3-4 degrees higher than desired (desired 74.5 F, water temperature 78.5 F and above), it seems like it’s constantly heating even when the desired temperature is reached. Really disappointed, because I have another smaller one of the same brand in another aquarium and no problem keeping the right degree
