Great affordable option, close cut for my dogs
Better, closer cut than my Osters. My horse body clippers quit after many years and I needed a quick affordable option. These have been great, not heavy like some other reviews say, works great, closer cut and perfect to use on my dogs too.

I have two doodles and have gone them so many clippers. These get through the toughness of the winter coats and makes grooming so much easier.

Awesome clippers!
Don’t buy these, spend $100 more and purchase a good brand. Please heat up quickly, they don’t cut thick coats, and the blades go dull extremely fast. Very disappointed in this purchase!!!! I threw away $140 Plus… but at least I can give you a warning advance, do not purchase these Clippers! They are cheaply made junk.

My only complaint is I wish it had more guards for different cut lengths. The 2 that come with it are junk. The trimmer itself is awesome

I returned it without use, but needs reviewed
Ok, I didn’t end up using these, but what came was a nice product, and I bought the more appropriate size. It says can be used for animals generally speaking. When originally looking saw using on a dog. I’ve owned dogs my whole life, and I am really tired of inefficient clippers that opt to remove power for quiet, hence was going to try these. These will not work on most dogs. They are simply giant. Great for horses, and other large beasts. Maybe, usable for a dogs like Great Dane size (great Danes given short hair can’t see the use for them, but mention them to help with scale understanding) Saint Bernard’s, or Bouvier des Flanders perhaps these would be usable.Really well built and hence bought a more appropriate size.

Great clipper for the money.
I had one pony that I needed to body clip. And do a trace clip on a donkey. I have been in the horse world professionally for over 50 years. Always used Oster at the show barn and at home. I have a Clipmaster and every year even if it got put away perfectly it would need new blades and a tune up. The guy that fixes them around here is an hour away. Sooo looked on Amazon and read reviews and thought for 100 dollars Iâm going to take a chance. This clipper did a great job. Yes it blows a lot of hair around but I think every clippers does. Used a lot off cool Lube and oil but that is true of every clipper. It would have cost me more than that to take them in get repaired and just the time there and back. It comes in a nice hard sided case with oil a brush and two extra blades. One is for shearingSo I am thrilled with this clipper and hope it stays the same until next time.

too big and too heavy for large dogs
It said it could be used on large dogs. I have a 100 lb dog and this was too big and too heavy to use.It did not go thru his thick undercoat very well at all.I returned the item.Im sure it would probsbly work well on horses

Iâm not big on giving reviews but had to give a review because I have searched for two years for a product that would work for my extremely thick-haired very large dogTHESE glided through his hair like butter! The ONLY clippers Iâve ever used that did this well! Unbelievable!!Noise level is medium.. but for the ease, speed, & relief from this extreme hot weather he now has, the noise was a small trade off!I work hard for my money & you better believe if a product doesnât suit me Iâm sending it right back – this purchase was the Best money Iâve ever spent!These are heavy duty-not cheaply made! Thank you for these!!
