Quality Protective Boot
This boot is high quality, easy to put on and remove, fits nicely and stays in place. A great value for the money. Our gelding is 16.1 hands and about 1200 pounds and we bought the Large for him. It has about a half inch gap from meeting in the front but still fits nicely and offers lots of protection where we needed it. We purchased this for our 23 year old Paint gelding who was playing with our other horse and reared up and came down hard on his front right leg. He bowed the main tendon in 3 places and shredded the tendon between his knee and fetlock. He was put on a 6 month stall rest followed by 5 months in his run and 1 month of light round pen work. We put these boots on him in the round pen and when we finally put him in a 4 acre pasture. He acts like they arent even there and has trotted and lightly loped in the pasture and his leg looks great when we take the boots off. He is one of those horses who takes everything off, even his fly mask, and he hasnt even looked at these boots, so you know they have to be comfortable. Do not hesitate to buy this boot!

Got these weeks ago 2 med 1 large pulled them out to compete. 1 large split all the way up before package opened & medium lasted 10 minutes into loping. I expect some wear but delivered & 10 minutes busted is insane! You can clearly see there isnât wear on these this was wearing for 30 minutes Iâm returning! If you walk maybe trot they are for you.

I loves these boots the second I put them on. I got a large back boot and a medium front boot. They have yet to move during a ride even after I went for a gallop. They stayed exactly where I left them. Elastic on boots always makes me worry that itâll stretch out fast but as soon as I touched the elastic on these boots I knew I had nothing to worry about. Itâs high quality and doesnât get stretched out at all. They have velcro on the opening that makes putting them on a breeze. It holds the boot shut, in place and tight even if your horse moves or stomps until you can clip them. No more fighting to get them on. Itâs a brilliant idea really. They keep my horses legs surprisingly dry and cool! Every time I take them off itâs a little victory moment! No more overheating legs! Theyâre very easy to clean⦠on the outside. My only complaint about these boots is that the foam like material on the inside of the boot is a hair and dust magnet. If you let the hair and dust build up thereâs no good way to get it out. But! If you brush them out often they stay clean. Considering thatâs my only complaint I would say without a doubt that these are very much worth the money. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an impact protection boot of any discipline. They also just look really sharp. I got black boots even though my horse is a dark bay and Iâm glad I did! The gold is a really nice accent. They look simple and sleek. Overall thereâs not much more I could ask for in a boot. Theyâre 100% worth the money. Everything about them feels well thought out and effective. I have a feeling they will last me a very long time.

Finally boots that fit both front and hind!!
At first, I wasn’t sure I was going to like the closures on these boots. I bought the black in medium for both front and hind for my 15.3 thoroughbred. They fit perfectly AND I LOVE the closures. They have the velcro in the front so you don’t have to pull the straps real tight. A Solid fit that does not move or restrict movement and I like that his legs are cooler under then as well. I use them for flat work and low level jumping. I plan to get the fetlock boots and maybe a white set. Well worth the money!

Good fit and protection
I use these Kavallerie dressage horse boots with the stiffer panels on some of my small herd. I want strong tendon protection from accidental hoof strikes. I have not had them long enough to evaluate how well they hold up. I suspect they will come in second place to another brand that seems sturdier, but the Kavallerie seem well ahead of many other, less protective brands. My other brand is slightly more expensive, but fits and protects even better, because it has a more customized shape for front legs vs hind legs. I feel the Kavallerie boots will give me good service and my horse likes wearing them.
