Extremely effective tool at detangling mats on long hair cats.
This tool is the best tool Iâve ever found for removing tough mats in my long hair male cat Max. It works great at getting into the mats & breaking through to help release them from the rest of the fur. The quality of this brush is amazing, itâs strong, sturdy, & does the job. Itâs also great for regular brushing. I recommend having an extra pair of hands to help if there are multiple large mats. Max barely even grumbled during grooming. Itâs very easy to use & gentle on the skin. The design of the brush is extremely effective.

I breed, raise and show Maine Coon cats who often develop complex mats, especially during the two shedding seasons of spring and fall. This comb/brush takes care of those mats more easily and quickly than any other brush or comb Iâve ever used. I will be getting more to stage all over the house!

I have three similar combs, but none of them work as well as this one. My long haired cat had a massive amount of tangles. I addressed them slowly, over a period of two days, without stressing the cat and completely removing all matts/tangles. Well built. Solid. Having both styles of comb on one tool very convenient.

One of our cats is a little overweight and developed mats next to her tail. She hates being brushed, so we were worried weâd need to take her to the vet. We were very pleased when this device removed the mats quickly! She didnât even seem to mind. Good value, since it works so well!

Like it but concerns.
I do like this but I have a concern. As I was brushing my cat to get her fur silky smooth and mats removed from her fur-she would try to bite at the brush. I would hear the metal clink to her teeth. It was alarming and my immediate reaction is she could break a tooth. Now Iâm very cautious if I really want to use it any longer. My other brush is plastic and doesnât risk damaging her teeth like the heavy metal parts this brush has. Just be careful.
