Recommended by our bird vet and the only pellet food we’ve fed for decades. Have used the appropriate size for every bird from American Parakeet to Amazon. Vet said all top brands are the same and Roudy is not as expensive as some others.

My budgies love this!! There is less waste than their previous favorite, Zupreem Fruit Blend.
I’m glad I found this food. I’ve always been disappointed with the Zupreem Fruit Blends. Mind you, I think Zupreem is a good food, but my budgies would waste even the tiniest canary-sized food because the nuggets are so hard that they crack when the birds eat. Half the nugget falls to the bottom of the cage, so it’s wasted. Also, I don’t think the food coloring is necessarily good for the birds.With Roudybush, the smallest size–Nibles–are still a bit large for my budgies. But, the food crumbles are softer, so even the tiniest little crumbs are not wasted. They fall apart in the food bowl and don’t crack all over or end up on the bottom of the bird cage. I think my birds like their food because they make more noise now and get “roudy” if the bowl is empty.

My featherkids don’t like it
I bought this in hopes of converting my boys to this healthy, full nutrition pellet. I like that the pellets are very small and easy for a parakeet to eat. Good value for the large bag. The ingredients are of great quality. Evidently the taste is bad to my parakeets. I’ve been trying to wean them onto it for at least a month, but I’ve stopped. They tried it from my hand and ever since have been picking it out of their food and tossing it on the floor of the cage. I’ve since donated the food to my vet.

Budgies really like this one
Feed my guys a variety… always though with this (small nibbles) as their daily maintenance food. And they absolutely love/eat it up. Not so with any other maintenance small bird foods have tried. I have 5 little darlings in a very LARGE parakeet condo (they need space to be happy) and not one of them refuses to eat this wonderful/healthy maintenance product.
