Portable and Bright
Works with my Ryobi batteries making it portable to use anywhere I need to drop an underwater light.

Pros and cons
Pretty cool actually needs a longer cord to be more effective from shore. Turned mine into a float. Also makes a cool light to fish on the shore without bugs all over ya

GOOD INVESTMENT FOR NIGHT FISHING
BRITE LAST AT LEST 6 HOURS ON A M18 5.0 BATTERY. USED THEM A COUPLE OF TIMES NOW WITH NO ISSUES. I HAVE 4 OF THEM FOR MY 19 FOOT BOAT AND THAT IS WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH

Great Light
Other than the button constantly coming apart, this light works great for attracting squid. I just had to add a little super glue, and everything works perfectly.

The Krispy Kreme Light for Fish
I clipped this green light to a Dewalt 20V and dropped it off the dock. Click. Glow. The lake turned neon like a diner sign at midnight. It felt like a Krispy Kreme light for fish. Hot and ready. Fresh worms. Fresh vibes. I could hear the crappie whisper, âNow serving.âSetup was easy. Battery in. Cord tidy. Light sealed tight. I eased it down until the green spread in a soft halo. The water went from dark to stage lighting. Bugs gathered. Minnows drifted in. Then bigger shadows. Then more. I tossed a line with a plump worm. The worm looked new. The worm looked like it had a diploma. The fish agreed. The brightness is real. 1512 lumens is not a theory. It cuts through murk. It pulls life from the edges. My dock became a tiny city with a green downtown. The current moved slow; the light did not care. It held steady. No flicker. No weird warm-up. Just on, then business.I ran a quiet test. Fifteen minutes. No light. Nothing. Another fifteen with the light. Minnows stacked like rush hour. Crappie followed like a parade. A cautious squid would have signed the guest book if I lived near salt. I respect a tool that changes the mood and gets results without yelling. This one glows and lets physics do the talking.Battery life felt solid. One 5.0Ah pack gave me a full evening. Cast. Reel. Laugh at myself. Repeat. I swapped packs once when my snack break became a nap break. The light took the new battery like a pro. No fuss. No drama. Back to green.Durability check passed. Housing stayed cool enough to handle. Seals stayed dry. No fog under the lens. I dunked it. I tugged the cable. I pulled it up and set it on the dock for a minute. No water inside. No hiss. Just a polite drip and a calm glow.End of night, I reeled the light up. It looked the same as when it went in. Green lens. Tight seals. Cable clean. I wiped it, popped the battery off, and stored it. Simple. Quiet. Ready for tomorrow.

Excellent for squid fishing
If you live in the Puget sound region of Washington and you are a fisherman you’re probably aware of squid fishing and the use of lights to pull the squid in. Normally that means you’ve got a big battery pack a generator some bulky items to take to the pier or put on your boat. This is the most economical and easiest to manage lighting system I have ever found. This is powered by a DeWalt 20 volt battery and it has a very long cord so you can hang it off most piers. This would be great from a boat or kayak. For taller peers you can add an extension cord which I intend to make because there is a disconnect at the battery. For peers like the Edmonds Pier that are so high, the extension cord would be necessary. The LEDs are super bright and waterproof. I might just add some silicone seal and heat shrink shrink wrap to anywhere I think water may get in. Love this
