The product keeps cats from damaging furniture and offers good value for money. Durable and Tall
This is a replacement for one exactly like it that took about 2.5 years to wear out and fray. My cat uses it daily so they are durable and nice and tall. This is really the height needed for a cat to fully stretch out and exercise their shoulders when scratching. Itâs a nice color that blends with most decors. Highly recommend!

Purr-fect! Cat LOVES it!
My cat loves this! He likes to stretch and scratch and is a decent sized male cat (not the biggest I have seen, mine is around 14 lbs) so getting a tall standing scratching post was a MUST. He absolutely loves it.My one complaint is that not both of the sections are reversible. The bottom one can be switched/flipped, so if your cat tends to scratch in one area you can swap it out after it gets too frayed. But the top one has the cap on top and it is not screwed on. It is attached. So you are not able to flip that one. Other than that, though, for a low price cat scratcher, I couldn’t ask for more. 5/5 from my cat.It is pretty durable. At the end of the day, it is a cat scratching post so it is meant to be used and worn down. Mine uses it a ton, and it pretty rough on it. I got about 8 months out of it before I had to replace it. And considering he uses it for all four feet, I’d say not bad. Plus the price isn’t too expensive, so I don’t mine replacing it.It is super easy to assemble. Mine does like to lay down, grab it and kick it really hard so after a few months the screw did start to come loose. But a quick tighten and it was good to go. I will say, it is not very sturdy. I do have the corner of it shoved under a bookshelf. It does fall over easily. I would make sure and secure it before letting your cats have at it. So it doesn’t really work free standing on it’s own, but that isn’t a big deal for me. If it is, I would try a different one. This is very light weight, but also my cat is very rough with it, so I have to make sure it is extra secure.

I mean, it’s not a bad scratching post
So…my cat absolutely refuses to use it, LOL. But to be fair, part of the problem is that he’s not the biggest fan of rope surfaces anyway. He likes harder surfaces to scratch; like wood, or metal refrigerator doors even though they do nothing for his claws; or my friend’s shoe. Why the shoe? I don’t know. If my cat learns to speak English, I’ll ask him.Anyway, about the product, I’ll have to give my thoughts without my cat’s input here.It was extremely easy to put together. Everything just screws into place. If I were to be nit-picky I could say that I wish the posts had labels or markings for top and bottom (yes, I know no one does this, but I think it would be helpful); and that this really doesn’t need the carpetty-part between them. It’s such a tiny piece, no where near big enough for a cat to do anything with, that it just seems kind of useless. But overall, construction was fine. It was super easy, and done in less than 10 minutes…probably in less than 5, but I’m not betting either way on that. For sturdiness, I have some concerns about the base. Small concerns, but still…. I’ve noticed that the post tends to rock some. I’m wondering if the base, or at least where the posts connect to it, is thick enough to last a long time. The posts are fine, though. Just, the base could use a thickness re-design.And for stability, I only give that three stars. When I say it rocks, I mean that this is probably the biggest reason my cat won’t use this. For those reading this, though, my cat’s like a middle-aged mountain lion…er, baby mountain lion. Whatever…he’s a big, dumb boy. But if you have a normal to small sized cat that just needs some extra scratch-and-stretch room, this should be fine. But when I play with him around this and lift his front paws to help him get the feel of it, the pole rocks quite a bit. I have double and triple checked the connections to make sure they are as tight as I can make them, but it still wobbles more that I would like. Maybe if it didn’t come with that carpeted piece in the middle, or if it had a thicker base, it wouldn’t be a problem.Overall, I’ll recommend this if you have a super-stretcher normal to small sized cat. But it’s not for honkin’ big guys like my cat. He could use the size of this scratching post, but I think the stability issues are really making him think twice about making it part of his routine. Or maybe he just likes my friend’s shoes better. I don’t know. But the scratching post is fine, so get it if you need one.

Great Buy
Cats love this scratching post! The one on the right is the same post – but after about a year and a half of use by two cats. The one on the left is the new one out of the box. Easy set up, good and affordable.

Sturdy and holds up to lots of scratching.
This is a great little scratch post. It is real easy to put together, sturdy and satisfies the needs of my two cats. We live in a 5th wheel travel trailer, so this is great for limited space. It holds up real well. I order a new one about once a year. I do suggest you wedge one corner under something like a couch etc or put something heavy on the bottom. It is lightweight. My cats love it!

Happy Cat.
This was my second purchase of this scratching post (vacation home). This post is higher than the normal post and allow the cat to stretch full length while she scratches – she loves it!

My cat loves this. I had it for an entire year, with daily cat use, before I decided it was time to replace. I am now on my second one of these scratch posts, and it is holding up great. Ball is easily replaceable or removable if wanted. Very sturdy pole, easy to assemble.

Cat absolutely loves this to bits

After going through several flimsy, too-short scratchers that my cat ignored or outgrew, I took a chance on this one⦠and wow â what a difference. This Dimaka 34-inch scratch post is a game-changer.⸻ð¾ FULL STRETCH = FULL SATISFACTIONThe height is perfect. My cat can fully stretch vertically (head to toe!) â which means it mimics a tree in the wild and feels natural to her. This feature alone stopped her from scratching the side of my couch. Instantly.⸻𪵠STURDY, STABLE, AND SILENTThe base is solid and doesnât wobble, even when my cat launches herself at it from across the room like a gymnast. No tipping, no noise, no drama. Itâs well-balanced and perfectly engineered for cat mayhem.⸻𧶠SISAL ROPE + PLUSH TOUCH = WINNING COMBOThe sisal wrapping is thick, durable, and holds up to daily clawing without fraying. The soft plush top and base are a nice touch â it blends well with my furniture and doesnât look like an ugly pet product.⸻𧸠BONUS BALL ON TOP = UNEXPECTED ENTERTAINMENTThat little ball? My cat is obsessed. She scratches, stretches, swats, and even uses it as a mini playground. I catch her playing on it several times a day, and sheâs clearly more active and stimulated.⸻â BOTTOM LINE: BUY THIS ONEIf youâre tired of cheap scratchers that topple or get ignored â this is your upgrade. Itâs tall, strong, elegant, and absolutely loved by my cat. This isnât just a scratching post.Itâs a vertical playground, couch-saver, and feline fitness tool in one.Highly recommend. 5 stars.Would buy again in a heartbeat.
