Great for large turtles
Just tried for the first time & super happy I did. It’s really hard to find large enough sized freeze dried food for turtles but these are really good. Makes a great supplement to Jumbo Krill and Reptomin Jumbo for my turtle to vary the diet. So far hasn’t messed up the water either so really happy with it.

A lot of broken bits
I am using these to feed isopods, so it is sort of an unconventional use, but I still like them. These arrive in a round plastic jar. The lid is twist off but there is a pop top aluminum seal under the lid so it is fresh until you open it. At least mine smelled like it.The fish are of different sizes. It’s hard to tell how meaty they were before freezing since freeze drying makes everything so flat, but they don’t appear to be just skin and bones. Unfortunately they do have a lot of damage and there is a lot of fish flakes (couldn’t resist – fins, scales, pieces) at the bottom. My buggies won’t mind, but I imagine it would be wasted with other animals.
