Great-quality test kit with clear instructions
This is a great test kit for magnesium. I recommend it to others.If your magnesium balance gets out of sync with some other parameters, it can negatively affect your reef tank, especially certain types of coral. I was concerned mine was out of sync since I was using a general magnesium/calcium/etc. supplement, so I started testing. I found that my magnesium was in a good place.As some other reviewers noted, the container the items are stored in is fairly cheap plastic. But, it gets the job done and the rest of the kit is great quality.I have used many test kits over the years for many different parameters (standard reef parameters like nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, pH, KH, calcium, phosphates, copper, etc.). The Red Sea test kits are some of the best out there. They come with various tools that make testing easier and safer like droppers and special vials for mixing. The instructions are clear and it doesn’t take that long to do. It’s just mixing some substances to then do titration.In summary, this is a great test kit. I recommend it to others who want to test for magnesium.

a good quality kit.
the 3 tests in this kit are a bit involved, and take 10-20 minutes each. however, they appear to be fairly precise and accurate. the color bars are easy to read and the titration has a good color change that is hard to miss, so you can be fairly certain you are getting a solid reading with each test. and as with all of the newer red-sea kits, the reagents and cards are very well packaged and of professional quality.the plastic case to contain all of the reagents and supplies is very handy and durable.the 3 for 1 kit from red sea is a very good value if you wish to be able to test for even just 2 of these parameters.

Accurate test kit.
As any experienced hobbyist will tell you, a marine system’s health depends on water parameters. The only way to be sure you are getting accurate readings is to use quality test kits. These lab-grade kits will do just that. Using cheaper grade kits will result in faulty readings, which can lead to major problems in your system. If you care about your expensive tank inhabitants, you won’t skimp on the test kits you rely on to keep them healthy. Red Sea kits are some of the best available, and you can buy replacement reagents instead of buying the entire kit. This will save money in the long run.

Great kit cheap container
The inside “molded” bottom of the container is cheap plastics that is crumbling into tiny black prices. It is meant to have a cut out for each vial and bottle but just gets tiny prices of crumbled plastic all over the place. Annoying but does not affect the function of the kit with is good!

Makes a lengthy process easy
Pretty cool kit. The process is lengthy but comes with a very simple and easy visual aid. Also comes with a pamphlet going over magnesium and itâs info. The pamphlet also shows optimal chemical levels based on your specific Marine tank. Very helpful. Pricey but you wonât find it cheaper in a store anywhere else

Red sea will never let you down
This product is outstanding, after using other brands, this test kit is accurate. The kit came with everything you need, a vial a syringe and the three liquid that you need to do the test. Not accurate whatsoever
This test kit is near 150 pmm off. If I adjusted my parameters to this teat kit, it would not be good for my animals. Cannot be returned. Defective
