Arrived in great shape
Theese cuttlebones are great! I have a Green Cheek Conure who was going through the smaller ones (3.5″ – 4″) every day. He would chew them up like they were a peppermint candy cane. He wasn’t eating them, just breaking them up and throwing the pieces on the floor of his cage. With the new ones, which are as big as he is, he just nibbles on the edges. The problem is, I accidentally threw away the holder for the larger cuttlebones and the holders I have aren’t large enough. I tried contacting the company but was directed back to Amazon. I couldn’t talk to anyone directly and couldn’t get anything resolved. I made it work though.

Rusty metal inside of bone???!
Iâm not sure why there was even a metal shoved through the bone to begin with but there is and it is extremely rusty and left rust marks along the inside of the bone where it was shoved through. When I was getting it out the bone shattered; the other bone had no metal inside of it but was shattered inside of the package. I think they are old, the one with the rust is definitely old because itâs literally RUSTY. The texture is also off not that of what the bone should be and I donât think the nutrients are correct because it smells weird too but that may also be because of the rust. Iâd like to know why the hell there was even a piece of metal shoved through the inside of the bone to begin with let along a fricking rusty one. Ridiculous. Wtf

It’s smaller than the usual cuttlebones we get for our cockatiels. There were a few cuttlebones that were broken but it was packaged nicely with a buble wrap and in a box. It’s good. We’ll buy again.

Love these 2nd time getting them sometimes they send bigger ones than listed on the description which I am okay with. I use these for my birds and tortoise. They are the real natural cuttle bone not that fake calcium block type. Wears down beaks and priced calcium of both birds ant tortoise to maintain healthy shape which is what I get them.Video/photo is my from pet page on IG from today when I threw those out for them
